Great replacement handle for my 2013 MB C300
I think most MB owners will complain about how some of the accessories, such as door handles, are on the cheap side, being plastic covered with a metallic-type tape. This replacement handle was all metal and looked and felt better than the OEM part. Compared to the original, I can tell it will last much longer than the original. I'm not one for DIY car repairs, but my buddy came over and installed it easily. It worked perfectly after installation.

Part is far superior to OEM
MUCH better door handle than the OEM from Mercedes. 100% metal. Heavier and stronger. Works perfectly. Came with additional screws and connector. Everything you need to replace the defective Mercedes part. Installation is difficult unless you have done it before. There are youtube videos but you need some specific tools to remove the inside door and reinstall it. I provided the part to the local independent repair shop and they did it. Labor was about $300.

This is definitely an upgrade to the chintzy and fragile OEM part.
This is a function-over-form situation. A door handle needs to be reliable, and the plastic Benz OEM handles are a junky safety risk, not to mention a total hassle when broken. That said, as this is all metal, it is noticeably shinier that the OEM; it kinda clashes with the trim (when compared to the OEM part). Given that this was for the driver's door, there was no way I was putting plastic back on. The install went smoothly. It took about 20 -30 minutes from start to finish. It is not difficult, just make sure that you have the tools that you need to properly do the job. I have all the tools, but I can imagine I'd have run into issues if I did not. Great fitment, and I am very pleased with the results. I recommend this!!
