THe author supports his work
I found the book to be well written. However, reading a book is not sufficient to pass the MS certifications. That's why I rely on the lab activities to get a lot of hands on. Greg gave good guidance and insights into building out a nested virtual lab environment (which I tweaked to suite my needs and VMWare WS environment (Mac/VMWare Fusion). Anyway, I did find some lab activities on nano server that I couldn't get to work, apparently because MS had pulled the nano docker files from their web site (at lease for Server 2016). The book had some emails to contact the author, and I took a shot and pinged him. To my amazement, he replied in less than an hour, and gave me updated notes on how to get the labs to work. Based on that, I give this book 5 starts. This book seemed to cost a bit more than some of the other's out there on the same subject, but I found that often you get what you pay for, and I'd rather pay a little extra for a better book for an author who cares to help. Thanks again, Greg.

exactly what I needed
It was as described--crisp clean copy of a book I needed for class--and arrived when promised, save for the Polar Vortex that effectively closed MIchigan in the last week of January. The only issue, MY fault, not that of the seller, was that I didn't realize the book was coming from the UK....and therefore wasn't eligible for Prime delivery.

Great beginning networking textbook
Easy to follow instructions/ guides and exercises Howe there are a few typos that need to be corrected in the next edition that make a big difference in the execution of the exercises. Set up of the lab needs better explanation.
