5004 36” Griddle Hard Cover, Powder Coated Steel, Black

Absolutely love this hard cover for my Blackstone 36” griddle! It’s incredibly sturdy, fits like a glove, and gives my outdoor setup a sleek, finished look. The powder-coated steel feels super durable and easily handles the weather when I leave it outside. It also prevents dust, debris, and critters from getting on the griddle when it’s not in use. The built-in handles make it easy to lift off and put back on, and I appreciate the small rubber feet that keep it from scratching the surface. This cover not only protects my investment but also extends the life of the griddle. Highly recommend to any Blackstone owner – this is worth every penny!

Exactly what I ordered and was looking for. Upon arrival of the product, it was missing 2 screws for one of the handles. I reached out to customer service and explained what the situation was. Within 5 minutes of being on the phone, they had the screws ready to ship. Screws arrived and everything is working perfectly. Great product!

It is easy to assemble, carefully packaged, sturdy and strong. I’m surprised some of the reviews weren’t that good but mine arrived in great shape. I was concerned with it while waiting to see it, but no issues or complaints for me and I’ve had it some time now. I live in Brooklyn, where the climate varies depending on the season. I have a protective outer cover that protects this lid and griddle itself. I fear rust but so far none. The thickness feels just right, nice and sturdy, not flimsy at all. I have a silicone liner that wraps around the edges of my blackstone, and this lid fits perfect and snug with it, further helping to keep moisture out. Neither the cover nor this lid failed me yet after some heavy rains, wind and weather. Winter is coming, I’m confident all will be well.

I inherited a 36” black stone without a lid and in rough shape. Resurfacing and reseasoning the stone, this was a must-buy to keep it fresh. Fits well and hangs on the back of the griddle when you need to cook.

I've wanted one of these for some time, and just now found them in stock. Still out of stock on the Blackstone web site. This fit my 36" grill perfectly. It even covered the drip trough which was one of my worries. The two handles are very convenient, and it also has 2 hanging brackets on the underside of the handles that allows you to hang the lid off the back of the grill. This is very nice, as it acts as a wind block from behind, which if you're familiar with this grill, you'll know wind can be an issue and significantly cool the temps when cooking. YEs, it will get a little hot. Don't touch it, and you won't get burned. I wondered about it holding during bad weather, but we've had wind and rain since I installed it and no problems at all. I will however eventually get a bungee strap to put across it just in case. I don't want to find it in my neighbors yard, all bent up. I may put a brick or two on it, but I'll paint them first. Don't want to scratch it. It's sort of thin metal, but I expected that for the price, and you really don't want something so heavy it 's hard to lift, like the griddle itself. I highly recommend this item. Only thing I wish they had was colors. Stainless steel or red or blue. But, maybe later on.

We love this grill and we cook on it all of the time. We didn't use the legs or anything for this grill and made it a drop in for a concrete counter top. My only complaint is that it was somewhat hard to get it mounted in the counter. It would be nice if it had tabs on the sides or a lip around the edge for the counter to catch it. If they had a model for drop ins, that would be perfect and get 5 stars. It was a waste throwing the legs, trays and casters away too. The grease cup is in a terrible spot for a counter top, but the alternative of hanging it in the middle if it were designed that way wouldn't work very well with controls either. We had to notch the counter out to accommodate the cup. When the grease gets flowing down the channel the grease may miss the cup completely and it runs down the side of the counter making a mess - this is the cup hanging at it's normal level, with or without it being mounted in counter it would do the same thing. I have had to put a spacer under the cup to raise it closer to the opening where the grease drops out to prevent it from missing the cup completely. If I were to do it over again, I might not cut out the counter at all and put the grease cup right on the counter top and hold it down with velcro or something. If you go this route make sure you set the grill in high enough that the cup will fit between the counter and the drip channel. Overall the grill is awesome. Very even heat as measured with an infrared thermometer. It seasoned very nicely and has not missed a beat cooking breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The powder-coated steel feels rugged and doesn’t flinch at weather or sun, and it’s easy to put on and take off. Keeps my griddle clean and ready to cook—what more could you want?

I love the cover, it's sturdy yet not too heavy where I can still lift it to hook it on the back. Assembly was easy, however, there is a dent on one of the corners. It's not too bad of a dent; I can maybe straighten it out with some force. All in all, very satisfied.

I bought this for our grill that we bought at Costco and it fit perfect and was cheaper here then anywhere else. It protects the grill great and is easy to remove and put on.

We absolutely love our Blackstone !! Everything tastes so good when cooked on it. The 36 inch size is awesome for cooking a variety of item at the same time at different heat levels. Only thing that was a bit of a nuisance was the drip tray. With a larger number of things cooking, we found the grease, oil etc usually missed the drip tray and spilled onto the floor.🙁 It would great if they could/would develop some type of supplement part to help alleviate this problem on this model!! 🙂Great product!!!
