most at pro and gold coils arn't compatable with at max?

I bought this product for my husbands at max and it works perfect and he has found some great stuff at places we have pounded! Highly recommended!

Anyone know what the difference in depth is over the stock AT Max coil?

My husband said he gets an xtra 6 inches
