Excellent tape for paddles! It stays on and feels good! I was pleasantly surprised at how well this tape works. It's sticky, yet not, it's like magic! I recommend it.

I got this to put on my Gear Labs greenland paddle and I'm very happy. I didn't want anything that would damage my paddle. This is tacky, and hold great but isn't glue and doesn't hurt the fiber. I did a 17 mile paddle with wet, sweat, and mud and it didn't loosen and provided great grip. For a full length greenland you need 2 rolls. Update. I'm very happy with the 3 stars..works great in sweat mud cold warm water. I've used it for over 60 miles of paddling and it's still on. The left grip is creeping up a little but I think that's because I wrapped it shorter due to running out of 1 roll. Use 1 roll per paddle. I bought 4 more rolls. But haven't had to change yet.

I have used self fusing silicone tape in the past for electrical repairs but never for handle grip and this works awesome to improve wood handle grip. Be aware through the blue is more a baby blue than a navy blue as pictured (see pic).

The wrap that came with my paddle became torn and kept moving up and down the paddle. I ordered this replacement wrap. It went on fast and easy and adhered perfectly. I ordered the bright yellow and love the way it looks. I have since paddled many miles and it has stayed perfectly in place. It looks brand new with no fading and has not gotten dirty. Highly reommend.

I've Got A Grip on it Now! I purchased some plastic coated aluminum paddles for my canoe. The handles were extremely slippery when wet and even dry. I found this tape and thought I'd give it a try. I have a grip of really good grip now. One roll is enough to do one paddle from the end down to where it expands at the bottom. So if you need to do two paddles by two rolls. The tape is comfortable to hang on to It's not irritating.

Very grippy when dry and easy to apply... but it’s super slippery when wet but definitely helps with preventing blisters

First time I've used tape on my dragon boat paddle and it works great. I watched a youtube video that shows how to put it on properly. Since getting this tape in May, I've paddled twice a week with it and competed in multi-day races every month. Only now (in August) do I have to re-apply. (The tape started to tear during my last race in July but it still provided enough grip). Overall, I got two uses out of the one roll but I was heavy on the tape the first time around. You could probably get three uses out of a roll if you skimped a bit. Just ordered another two rolls. Love this stuff.

I purchased red and clear. Whished the red was a little more popping, but other then that, it helps with the grip a lot!
