Very impressive quality at a bargain
We just received our new Svbony SV28 scope and I'm honestly well impressed.A couple of years ago, my family and I got into amateur astronomy, so we bought a quality telescope with an equatorial mount, which we have enjoyed a lot. The problem with it is that it's clunky, difficult to operate and delicate, so not ideal for taking along for country walks and camping or for our 9 year-old to operate on her own. Long story short, we decided to give this Svbony spotting scope a go, thinking that if it wasn't that descent at least it was cheap and would do for nature spotting. As the title of my review reads, I'm well impressed with it!THE SCOPE: built quality feels robust, yet lightweight to just pop in the rucksack and go. More importantly, the picture quality is beyond descent, images come in crisp and clear. It is also straightforward to operate, so my 9 year-old can get a good view on her own. At 75x top magnification, the Svbony scope is powerful enough for Moon gazing, planetary observations and nature spotting.PHONE HOLDER: some buyers have indicated in their reviews the phone holder is not good, yet I've had no issues whatsoever with it. Being reasonable, one cannot expect to have professional-quality photos with this type of equipment (main limitation will be the quality of your phone's camera). However, straight out of the box, we managed to easily fit either mine or my wife's multi-camera phones, and took some fair quality images.THE STAND: it holds the scope, with camera attached, steady with no problems. We don't intend to use it that much, as we have a good quality, adjustable camera tripod.Overall, can't fault the scope, great value-for-money!

Good for hobbyist not for serious birder
Now that I have had the scope for a couple of weeks, and used it 3 time I feel able to write a review. I will start with weight it significantly lighter the Opticron HR 66 GA I had. Focus, is smooth. Image quality, not fantastic beyond 40x where it get a bit blurry. Below 40x image quality is good. Overall I am happy with the scope and now know its limitations. Is it worth the money? Yes if you are a hobby birder but if not you should Loki into a significantly higher price bracket. Good enough for the money

Svbony 25-75x70
I started out looking for a new pair of mini binoculars as the pair I have (8x22) are quite old now with a zoom of only 8. My searching quickly led me to mini hand-held scopes (or monocular) and then I started thinking I could do with some real zoom and better clarity. Honestly, I did buy a mini hand held monocular anyway to throw in a back pack, but my interest had already been spiked by these larger (but not to large) scopes. Plus, the mini hand held could never really compete with the specifications of these larger scopes. This is a solid built scope, feels though and durable. It was a good buy. I don’t plan on trying out the waterproof part but it’s comforting to know it should survive a shower or two. Although I am not an expert, I did research the specs to get the best product in this price bracket, paying attention to the exit pupil diameter as was suggested. The exit pupil on this scope (25-75x70) was advertised as 7mm, which I have used to get some surprisingly great views of the moon. My kids were fascinated with this new perspective of the moon and I know we will get great use out of this scope for amateur astronomy amongst many other things. This is definitely coming with us for family excursions as it is compact enough to throw in the car boot, or even leave in the car. The 25-75 zoom is good enough to be getting on with. The scope is simple to use, and I will have no problem teaching my 7 year old to use this alone (obviously after the sun dangers are explained repeatedly). The tripod is good enough to place on a bench or other similar stable surface. I personally have mounted it on a larger (camera) tripod for extra stability while looking at the moon, as it does help to raise the scope high off the ground to get a better viewing angle, and like all scopes, it needs to be kept steady to get a clear view. The view itself is very clear and I couldn’t have expected more from a product at this price. At full zoom it is important not to touch off the scope while viewing. With a bit of practice, you can learn to float your eye over the eyepiece so even that won’t shake it. I have not tried the cell phone mount as of yet and I don’t really expect to use that part much anyway. This scope wasn’t bought for taking pictures. Although, I may experiment with that in the future. The thing here is that the picture is only as good as the phone camera, so that’s up to your phone I suppose.I did purchase this item when it had zero reviews, so I took a rare chance. I am glad I did as this product will get years of use in my home and I feel it was a very good buy for the price. I have no doubt that we will be needing a professional telescope at some point in the future to get closer to the moon, as this scope has now raised interest levels (James Webb is on my shopping list), but I imagine there will always be use for this one as it is so handy for the car and so quick to set up and adjust.Overall, a sturdy, compact, neat little product that offers clear views, decent zoom and does exactly what it says. Delivery was prompt and customer communication is so far good.I would recommend this as a great starter product that should last once treated with respect.

Lightweight, lovely crisp views.
I'm very pleased with the scope. It's lightweight and easy to hold and focus by hand. The scope is intended primarly for lunar observation, unfortunately there has not been a clear sky for about three weeks. it's also used for bird watching and performs perfectly with clear bright views.Very good value and an all round performer.

Light and compact
Great budget monocular, light weight easy to set up, great views of wild life and the moon, phone carrier a bit pointless, will only take a circular pic, and to zoom in the phone has to turn with the eye piece so constantly having to move apart from that great buy so far

Good magnification, good quality optics, fair price
I liked the price (very good when compared to established brand names), the quality of the optics are good with no observable distortion, multiple outlines or colour edges, to the image. The telescope comes with a soft case, small metal tripod (with pan and tilt adjustment) and a universal camera-phone mount for taking those all important photographic records to impress and amaze.
