This bag is well worth the price. Pros: handles, backpack straps durable and convenient. Love vertical design which lies against nicely under arm or on hip. I added a salvaged shoulder strap to the bag's zipper loops which works great and tucks away into the rear snapped back strap compartment completely - works perfectly for ultimate convertibility. Stitching of high grade and durable and beautifully crafted. Zippers glide smooth and teeth don't irritate skin reaching in. Zipper pulls are smooth. Bag cleans up nicely and machine washable. Compact. Cons: Bag throat is confined, can't throw-in contents rather laptop needs to be packed in tightly. I use side bottle pockets for laptop accessories like plugs and mouse. Although deep and sizable - don't trust the front vertical side pockets for wallet so place in rear snap pocket for back pack straps stow - okay and safe there. Overall excellent bag that lays well over the shoulder and against my hip. Very pleased.

Thought that the bag was larger

Yes, this product is a bit pricey, but it's worth it depending on your specific needs. It has high quality construction and appears very durable. If you're looking for a super roomy bag, this is not for you because it's compact with room mostly for your laptop, cords, accessories and some basic essentials. The snug fit inside means your laptop and items aren't jostling around when you're on the move. What you get is a stylish, streamlined bag that looks good with decent space and is super comfortable to wear when on the go.

The Bellroy Tokyo is undeniably cute—its design is sleek and minimal, and at first glance, it looks like the perfect everyday bag. But once I started using it, I realized it’s tiny—almost like it was designed for kids. It doesn’t carry much at all, which makes it hard to justify as a daily backpack. The fabric is nice to the touch, but I expected something more substantial, like a sturdy canvas. Instead, it’s a thin, wrinkly nylon that doesn’t hold its shape very well. It's still high quality though.

The perfect bag! I always get compliments on it. Fits enough for me. Laptop plus an extra pair of work clothes and shoes. Very cute and well made.

Good quality, highly functional compact and organized laptop travel bag. I’ve had mine for almost two years and it is still in great condition. The only shortcoming for me is the absence of a luggage loop/strap.

Unlike every other bag I’ve used, this doesn’t have tabs hanging from it that you pull on to tighten the straps. It makes tightening it just a little more effortful but I think it’s worth the trade-off. To the people upset about the materials: this bag is about 2 lbs, which makes it about 2 lbs lighter than all of their other bags. So of course the materials are going to feel thinner; they need to be in order to lighten the bag. IF YOU’RE CONCERNED ABOUT THE “CHEAPNESS” of the material, then DO NOT GET BLACK. I just visited these bags in a store and black is the only one that feels a little bit like a raincoat. The others all have a more robust weave, is I guess how I’d describe it. Honestly I’m kinda wishing I got the grey now because my makeup shows up easily on the black, oops! Anyways I really like this bag and can’t wait to be using it. OH and even though it’s for 13” laptops only, it fits my 14” Macbook Pro 2021 just fine. The bellroy website has pocket measurements so you can decide for yourself.

Bought the saltbush colour but returned and went with the slate version. I love it. I tried a few other Bellroy bags first but this was the one for me. It's pricey, but I was shocked how pricey backpacks are now - a quality bag isn't cheap be it Osprey, North Face, Deuter, Patagonia, Aer, etc. I like the size of this bag. It is a little on the small side but the whole point for me was an everyday bag which I wouldn't put too many things in and wouldn't weigh me down. Also, I didn't want it to look huge on me not being particularly tall. I can put in a waterproof or umbrella, laptop or iPad notebook, pen, glasses, sunglasses, bits and pieces, keys, water bottle and have a little room left over for shopping for example. Room for book as well. Won't pretend there's loads of space but it's just right. The bag itself is very lightweight and very well made. And I like the look very much.

Bellroy è sinonimo di qualità, ho acquistato questo zainetto con qualche dubbio, dopo 1 anno di utilizzo sono assolutamente convinto di aver fatto la scelta giusta. Ottimo materiale, due tasche laterali comode da aprire al volo. Il mio utilizzo quotidiano è casa e lavoro, con Ipad e borraccia sempre all' interno insieme alle chiavi e magari una felpa. Contenuto negli spazi ma per le esigenze che avevo non serviva di più. L' ho anche usato 18 giorni in giro per il Giappone facendoci stare di tutto e di più.
