Four You Say Which Way Adventures: Pirate Island, In the Magician's House, Lost in Lion Country, Once Upon an Island (You Say Which Way Collections)

gave this book to my 10 year old grandson. The type set is small and dense. The language is archaic. The stories are good and the element of creating your own plot is very interesting, but the book needs updating for today's kids.

My grandchildren ages 8 and 9 love these books just like my sons did 30 years ago. Different story every time.

I used this to introduce my 8 year old son to choose your own adventure books. It's decent, not riveting and not a ton of twists, but it's a good introduction to choosing your own adventure.

I've been using these to introduce my children to Which Way adventures. It has also been helping encourage them to read more. Very well written.

For a preteen

A great choice of four cool books. You choose which way the story goes and have fun. I did. So did my kids. Richly imagined worlds and storylines that lead you to unexpected places.

My son has enjoyed this so far. Being able to make decisions about which way the story unfolds is great fun - even when he’s made the wrong decision and the story has ended. Lots of facts and learning interweaved too into story so he’s learning stuff without realising it. Recommend.

My 9yr old daughter devoured all 4 stories in this book within a couple of days.But the best part is that she can reread it in the future and make different choices for a different course to the story. Great value!

This adventure book was very disappointing, was over in an hour and im a very slow reader and not many options to chouce from so stories ened very quick, such a shame but the fighting fantasy books are a lot better so will stick to them as there adventure just keeps going on

Bought fir my kids to encourage reading they are 9-11 and they both love them and can’t put the books down.

always good to buy a book which your child actually reads. My 11 yr old has enjoyed this book as much for it novel approach of choosing how the story goes as the stories. Don't think he would have enjoyed reading the stories as individual books as much. as much!
