Best Hands Down
This stuff is the best I’ve tried and I test a lot. I tend to try something and if I don’t see first few days it’s not the best. My husband’s knees we’re so dry and on days smooth broke threw the tough skin. My hands look dry all time stats on moist all day. My feet stay soft for days even not using each shower which ladies is a must.

WOW THIS WORKS
I'm a legal secretary with psoriasis and also allergic to paper (likely the formaldehyde in the paper) ... when I have to do mailings or heavy paper pushing my hands will crack and bleed ... I've tried for ages to find some sort of barrier cream to protect my skin from that burning irritation. WOW THIS WORKS. It's not greasy -- give it just a couple of minutes to absorb and it really helps. I am so happy with this -- I can put it on UNDER nitrile gloves and it doesn't sweat my hands and make them sore from lack of air. I can also put it on and do fine work (just try separating two pieces of paper with gloves on?? ugh!) successfully without bleeding all over the paper. I just got done with a mailing last week and for the first time in years I didn't go home all sore and with cracked hands. THANK YOU!!

My go to for ezcema
My doctor recommended this product among other products to help with my facial eczema. It is a great product. It does not have a scent likeOther lubricants such as Vaseline. It’s not too heavy but is heavier or thicker than most moisturizers. A little goes a long way. I’ve used it for several years and this product is part of my daily regime to limit the effects of severe eczema. Used in combination with other products, I have not had severe eczema outbreaks where I had to use prednisone since I began using Theraplex. Although I still have eczema, I believe this product is essential in keeping its effects in check. Love love love this product.

A good dupe for vanicream ointment
Using this for eczema. I was searching for a Vanicream Ointment alternative since they’re reformulating, and I needed something less greasy than Vaseline or Aquaphor—both of which tend to make me itchy. This product has similar ingredients to Vanicream Ointment, and so far it absorbs quickly, which I appreciate. However, it’s not quite as moisturizing. I’ve found that I still need to layer Aquaphor on top to keep my problem areas properly “barriered.”

The best thing I have found
My job requires frequent hand washing, so I have extremely dry hands. Barrier Balm over night made a huge difference the first time. Using it every night keeps my hands feeling normal. No more dry and cracking skin. It does feel a bit greasy going on, but seems to absorb quickly. I don't wear gloves over the lotion at night.

Excellent moisturizer in lab setting (with more frequent hand washing b/c of pandemic)
I work in a synthetic organic lab, and I have pretty terrible eczema on my hands. The dermatologist recommended I put on vaseline every time I wash my hands in lab to keep them from drying out and flaring up. I come into contact with a ton of different irritants even while wearing personal protective equipment (organic solvents, chemicals, etc) and so washing hands often and wearing nitrile gloves is imperative. The vaseline was too heavy and made wearing nitrile gloves on top uncomfortable. Theraplex Barrier balm has been a pleasant surprise--a little goes a long way and it sinks into the hands better, allowing for less time between application and getting back into nitrile gloves. I pair it with hypochlorous acid spray to manage the bacterial load on the hands and so far the combination is working excellently! Highly recommend for anyone managing eczema in the workplace.

A great moisturizer
Now that I've been living in a colder dryer area of the country (although nothing like the the western states of this country, I find that my skin gets very dry. I wash my hands many times a day, and I'm always moisturizing them. I do use other good moisturizers, but I'm very picky about what I buy. For example, I tried the Blue Emu moisturizer, but I didn't like having blue skin.I like the fact that this particular styles has a moisture barrier. It helps a bit when I'm in the kitchen. My dog need a lot of love, so I have to stop and pet her when I'm cooking. My family is very fastidious about having dog hair in their food. (I can't imagine any of us eating something that we knew had dog hair in it.) It's not really the hair that's the problem, it's what's on the hair.So my hands are nice and soft almost all of the time. And that includes the summer, when I get very dirty working in the garden. It's nice to have when I feel as if I just scrubbed all the skin off of my hands.
