My daughter needed to sit the BMAT and the first time she sat an on-line practice test she was beside herself at how difficult it was. She was so upset that she assumed she'd never get a place at medical school. She found this book very useful - as the saying goes, practice makes 'perfect' and she found that although it is not possible to revise for the test it was very helpful for her to attempt several practice tests and get used to the idea that she would never finish any of them.At present, there are two different tests which medical schools in the UK use to help them decide which students they want to interview - the BMAT and the UKCAT. The UKCAT test is a completely different test - this book will not help you prepare for that test. The BMAT is only required by Oxbridge, Imperial and UCL - there is therefore no point in buying this book if you are applying elsewhere!

This book has lots of good exercises to practice for the BMAT exam for students looking to apply to medicine at Cambridge, Oxford, UCL or Imperial.There are lots of handy tips and hints on how to tackle the exercises and there are also a few examiner's reports for specific exercises. The answers to the questions are extremely explanatory and give a thorough explanation of the thought process into answering the question.Highly encourage this book. Great practice. :)And of course, Good Luckkk!

My daughter used this to prepare for BMAT and found it very helpful. It is an excellent aid for those wishing to make use of examples in preperation for sitting BMAT.

If you have a good memory and a really good grasp of the topics covered, this is AMAZING. I didn't need to do any other revision and I'm now in a London med school! That being said, if you aren't quite sure about the examined content yet, I'd say leave this for now, do some revision and then come back to it. Generally, the questions are a good representation of what comes out. And GOOD LUCK!

Ho comprato questo testo pper prepararmi, ad un livello più difficile, ai test che sarebbero stati di lì a poco. Ho effettuato i test statali di Medicina, Imat, private in italiano e in inglese.Questa raccolta BMAT è molto utile in quanto prevede come un buon eserciziario, una piccola parte di teoria, una serie di esercizi spiegati nel dettaglio e altri esercizi su cui poter fare pratica.Quello che per me è la potenzialità, è stata confrontarmi con una tipologia di quesiti BMAT complessa che ha richiesto un diverso modo di intendere la preparazione di base da fare per superare i test.Consigliato ma solo come testo di rifinitura se si dispone di molto tempo.AGGIORNAMENTO:Per i test del 2015 serviva. Per i test del 2016 pure. Per i test del 2017, essendo questi ritornati ad un modello più semplice, non serve affatto.

Very informative. Questions are organized. The answers provide procedures. I used to it to study for the IMAT and it was very helpful. #1 recommendation for the IMAT.

Nonostante qualche "sbordatura" nella copertina del libro, sono soddisfatto del mio acquisto. Consigliato a chi vuole esercitarsi per prepararsi al BMAT ma anche all' IMAT.

Libro molto utile.Gli esercizi sono di difficoltà medio-alta, ma la correzione é esaustiva e ti fa capire bene dove hai sbagliato.Nonostante sia in inglese, non è difficilissimo da capire, non serve una conoscenza perfetta della lingua.Mi servirà sicuramente per fare pratica.
