I have mixed feelings
I'll be honest, I've been stuck swatching this set for days and I'm not too sure about the colour range here. Some of the barrels don't even match the actual pigment. For example "Hollywood pink" looks like a pinkish purple to me and yet the barrel is painted pink. The "Dewberry" for some reason is painted as a purple, but the pigment is more pinkier than the barrel. Also, "Wild berry" is unnecessary, please get rid of that and give us one more true red, it looks too similar to "Mardi gras" and it looks almost like neon in my eyes. "Mardi gras" however is a true royal purples its gorgeousAlso, there are absolutely no reds in this set. Your "Pure red" feels like a scarlet or a Red-Orange in my eyes. This is weird because there's another colour called red-orange, but please rename that. It looks like an orange-red where the orange dominates the mixture here. Your "Scarlet" also looks orange to me imoThere are barely any true reds here, one called "Pompeian red" but that's the closest I could find but it still has a brown tinge to it there is literally no true red in this set at all, so if you are someone who loves red like I do, prepare to be disappointed. I find it ironic how there are so many Magentas, Purples and Violets and yet there isn't a single red, so far this is susPlease either eliminate "Wildberry" and give us at least 1-2 more reds or increase the color range.I also wish that there were some more true greens like Prussian green/olive green/ from the Prisma set there are so many green-blues in this set and those grey-ish greens are stunning also some more beige tones like the ones from Caran d'ache would be nice tooBut still, I love the fuchsia/magentas here those are gorgeous. And there are lots of purples and violets those are stunning pigments which I appreciate, most sets like Prisma and Faber don't have as many purples and magentas like this oneSo to summarize:Please rename "Pure red" to "Red-orange"and the actual "Red-orange" of this set to an "Orange-red"And add more true reds/greens and beiges please, some of them also look brownish like the "Shiraz" and the "Sangria" colour if you guys truly wanted to compete with Prisma then we should at least see those tones in theirThe "Wild berry" is a neon in my eyes those are way too bright please get rid of that and give us one true redThe Hollywood pink barrel should be a little more purplish than thatBut thank you for creating this set I would recommend this for anyone interested in starting in art but not for pros 100% those are for beginners only

Beautiful and creamy pencils at a great price
These pencils are so saturated and pigmented. I purchased the 150 set after hearing that all of the colors will soon be available open stock from art stores. I mostly use Faber Castell polychromos for sketching and art, but I noticed a lack of the more bright, fun colors that a lot of the student brands have. I did not want to sacrifice performance and it was also important to me that the colors are available open stock. This set includes 4 great and very bright lime greens (Pear, Key Lime, Citrus Yellow, Lemon Lime) which are the hardest to find in the more "serious" professional art brands. I'm sure it has to do with lightfastness and subject matter, but I plan on using these in coloring books and love using bright, pigmented colors. On pencil quality, they are slightly smaller in diameter to the average Derwent pencil. They feel in the hand similar to a modern Prismacolor. The paint on the barrel is matte and there were some more textured pencils that I noticed, but did not affect my ability to use them. I also noticed some with chipped paint and incomplete printing, but also did not affect my ability to use them. They are extremely blendable and quite soft and buttery (to me, compared to Polychromos and Arteza). When I was swatching them I do not recall any scratchy colors. I also used the Prismacolor colorless blender and they are the most easy to blend of all of my pencils. I actually have to be careful to not blend or smudge too much! This also means that I can color faster because I can put down a light layer of color on the page and very easily blend it out to get the full color coverage that I want. They're not watercolor pencils, but the effect of using the colorless blender pencil on a light layer was similar to activating a watercolor pencil in that you can get a lot of color coverage and it does change the look quite a bit. The Derwent colorless blender used on a blend of blue and yellow actually blended to a green, where the prismacolor blender just brightened the colors and softened the texture.Overall I am very happy with these pencils. I think they're a great value and there's an excellent color selection. I wish they were a tad bit harder, but I also realize I'm probably in the minority when I gravitate to harder pencils and anything softer feels too soft. I definitely recommend these for coloring book enthusiasts.

Truly, madly, deeply
I am so in love with these pencils, I am thinking of running away with them. Hubby can keep the house and the dogs, I just want my Chromaflows and my colouring books. The guys who make prismas must be weeping over their coffee.Fabulous colours - check out the Mango - and lovely creamy texture that doesn't crumble, and virtually layers and blends itself. Nice finish on the barrel too. Not as fine as polychromos, but nicer than prismas, which always feel cheaper in the hand than they should. If I had to find fault it would be the lack of reds, which is a tad disappointing and the only areas where prismas win. However, there is a lovely choice of purply pinky shades. Can't leave them alone! I think I have found the perfect pencil at last.

Amazing
Really lovely pencils. I'm not sure anything really ever compares to prisma as it is it's own world. These have to be the closest. They are buttery soft. Same colour size 150. Similar pricing. These are a little slimmer than std derwent thickness but it's still a 3.8mm lead which is great. Would I buy again? Yes and will in a pay or two lol no issues sharpening which was surprising because no bubble wrap or protection included in the packaging. Thankfully derwent have a secure tin. I was expecting some broken ones give how sparse it was delivered in a semi open box. Constructive feedback? Given the price. Add bubble wrap

Très crémeux c'est un plaisir
Je suis fan, les couleurs sont incroyables, ils se mélangent facilement. Je suis fan, j'espère seulement que l'on pourra les trouver tous à l'unité
