So painful and so good
Helped releave my psoas while I am recovering a pulled groin. It really is great. I wish it could widen and shorten to be a perfect width. I use only one side at a time because the width isn't perfect for me. Probably should have bought the more expensive moveable one. This is great though for the price.

Just hard plastic
This was a cheap piece of hard plastic with no cushion at all. It was unusable to me. I understand that it needs to be firm- but usually there is some covering or give to these things.

Too small for me
This product is hard plastic. It is super hard and uncomfortable. I am 5'8 and 185. It was just too small. It was awkward to use. There are included instruction for use. It would make a great doorstop if it was weighted. Now, we just need to figure out what to do with it.

Nice tool for psoas with other uses - don't give up on it
If you only want this for psoas relief, you may not like it. It is hard plastic and uncushioned. You could cover it with a tea towel folded over and perhaps attached to the upright part. Whether you use this device or tennis balls (yes, that's another way to treat), you are going to experience discomfort. Don't give up on the treatment, sometimes we need to build up to what needs done.Another alternative use I have been using this for is for improving my posture while seated at my desk. I place it behind my lower back and while it does move me forward on the seat, it encourages me to hold my shoulders higher as well.It does come with instructions (as everything should but seldom does). For what it is, a hard block of hollow plastic, I believe it should be half the current $20 cost. Also, the packaging of this item is a huge waste of plastic. It ships in a sealed plastic bag, then in a bubble wrap bag, then with shrink wrapped plastic AND tape.My 3 star rating does not indicate this is a bad product, just that it is average. It is no better or worse than every other non adjustable uncushioned Psoas Release Tool.
