Versatile, Fun and Great for Learning Too
Good card quality, fun to play and also great for learning. Versatile because you can play several different games. The instructions aren’t the best but you don’t really need them. Your fish, spell the word with the same color cards or lay down a word. Make it simple, perfect for traveling.

Versatile!!
The media could not be loaded. So many ways you can “play” this card game. Go fish style, draw and discard, flash cards, only words out of the same color of cards, etc. We’ve used this as flash cards with our 2.5 & 1.5 year old. They both know they alphabet and letters, so they enjoy using them as flash cards and letter recognition games. We play spell words with our 5 year old. Most points at the end of the game wins!So easy and versatile!!The cards slide nicely across tables and are a great size for little hands. Nice value for the money, ESPECIALLY if you’re able to use it multi-purposefully.

Great for letter go fish!
I liked these cards a good deal. I didn't necessarily care for the game instructions, but with the number of letters this was easily used for letter go fish, or spell a word lay a word down style games. I was easily able to make it fun for a variety of kiddos and appropriate for different learning levels. The cards themselves are high gloss, thick, and a little bigger than regular cards so they hold up better under heavy use and in little hands.

Sneak Some Learning in While Playing a Fun Game
First, this is a great game and is terrific for helping kids with spelling and reading. The game doesn't include instructions. Is this a problem? Nope, but it can be frustrating for those who NEED instructions or directions. You play using this deck instead of the cards you have for War, Spit, Go sh. You can use games like Scrabble Scattegories and Wordle as models to create your game. This is a fun way to learn sounds, spelling, and reading. Not all kiddos learn the same way, so this is an alternative and fun way to help your kiddos learn. Playing with other friends is excellent, but playing with older siblings can boost confidence for younger kiddos or those who may be struggling a bit with their reading and spelling. The games are quite fun, and older kids won't feel like they are playing a game that is too young for them. The reviewer, Book Club Member, included their version of the game in their review. As one who needed directions, we played with the instructions that the Book Club Member had shared. We had a blast and it was a great way to show us how to incorporate the deck into other games.A big thank you to the reviewer Book Club Member! These are their suggested directions:To play, deal out the cards as you would in Go Fish, leaving some in the middle that players can trade for. Better yet, the cards can be used to play any other version of a word game. I can turn it into Scrabble. The letters have different values; for example, a Z is worth 10 points, and an A is worth one point.Others suggested adding more decks; we may add another deck or two soon.

Why are no rules included?
I knew from the product listing that there would be no paper instructions, but decided to take the risk anyways. When I got the game, the cards were well packed and decent quality. However, when we scanned the QR code to read the instructions, it took us to a very hard to navigate and sketchy looking website. As far as we could tell, the only "instructions" on this site were videos of other people playing the game, which were hard to follow and didn't clearly explain the rules. Ultimately, we didn't end up playing any of the provided rulesets because of this. However, I don't consider that too much of a loss. As the box says, they recommend using the cards to create your own game, which is what we did. The only other minor issue worth mentioning is that the cards' letters are not in the top left corner like standard playing cards. They are only in the center and top right. The other corners have illustrations of objects that start with each letter. This meant that, when holding some cards, everyone had to hold them in reverse order to see what cards were in their hand. This felt a little awkward after years of holding hands the other way, but it's not the end of the world. If a revision were ever done, it might be nice to have the letter on all four corners, or have the letter on one left and one right, while the illustration is on the other left and right of each card.

Great game for homeschool
This is a really nice game to work on spelling and vocabulary for kids. I got this as a fun way to do spelling practice with my son. Easy game play and the card quality is nice. He really likes this game over playing some of the other spelling games we have. I highly recommend for classroom or homeschool.

They're cute cards, but what do I do with them!?
I wanted to work with my son on his spelling... I thought this was going to be a fun word building game. What I ended up with is 52+ cards with A-Z on them, and some sort of number score. From what I've found online, you make up and play your own games. Ok, I might be able to figure out something. I would expect that the creator must have at some point created some sort of structured game. Instead the web page is a bunch of videos of his kids flipping cards over.If you have a plan for how to make words with not-enough-vowels, good luck!

Fun & Educational
The Go Words Card Game is a fantastic addition to our game collection. It’s a clever and engaging game that blends word-building with strategy, making it both fun and intellectually stimulating. The game is easy to learn and quick to pick up, which is great for spontaneous play with friends or family. The card quality is solid, and the design is visually appealing with clear, legible text. I also appreciate that the game encourages vocabulary development and quick thinking. It’s perfect for word game enthusiasts who enjoy a bit of competition. It's perfect for teachers to use in the classroom as well!
