Reasonable, robust stand, a tad expensive
This stand is strong enough for any modern monitor, and in fact would take an old CRT (as there are some still out there). It is made of heavy-duty black plastic, with a drawer you can use for A4 paper if so minded. The basic height is 72 mm, but you can increase this to 100 mm by plugging in the extension feet. You will probably want to clip on the rubber feet, which avoid skidding and also scratching your desk. The gaps for cable management are situated near each back corner (well done for including two rather than one – gives more flexibility, no pun intended).I question whether the stand needs to be quite so deep, so if you’re pushed for space, e.g. you like to have documents between keyboard and screen, you might want to think about a stand with a smaller footprint. Otherwise, I suppose the depth means the screen is solidly positioned. The rubber feet don’t stay on that well. Once you have decided which height setting you want, it could be a good idea to glue them on.The PC accessories market is very crowded, and you could pay a lot less than the current £30 for a reasonable stand; however, you can save a few pounds on this one by buying from one of the other sellers on Amazon.

Monitor or printer Stand
Whilst the ewent is billed as a monitor stand, I wanted it to perch my printer on top of ... the main benefit for me was to get an additional drawer in my tight office.Reasonably made, and if using it as a monitor stand, will take up to 27kg in weight and will raise your monitor between 72mm (without the additional legs) or 100mm with them. The only bug-bear I had was with the separate non slip rings that attach to the bottom of the legs (or base if you are not using the legs) ... I found it really difficult to make them stay in place. The drawer is has a decent capacity and will take A4 ... as won't slide all the out without giving it an extra pull ... so you are not going to inadvertently dump your paper on the floor. There is a cable guide at the back which is useful.Perhaps a tad expensive.

A useful stand for your monitor or printer that features an A4 size drawer
I really like this ewent Monitor Stand, although I am actually using it with my printer as it is suitable for either purpose. The drawer is very useful as it holds A4 size paper, and the stand itself will support up to 27 kg safely with it's non-slip feet keeping it firmly in place. The stand measures 33.6cm by 34.3cm by 7.1cm and can raise your device by 72mm or 100mm - if you are intending using it with a monitor you will find it suits some styles of monitor base better than others – check the illustrations. Currently around thirty pounds this is a good quality stand for the price – but many more basic models are quite a bit cheaper.

A good idea
It will depend upon one's ergonomic needs, but if the height of this riser is what you want then this will do the job. Easy to put together and good to have the little drawer. Wipes clean and is lightweight, therefore suitable for most slimline screens. Doesn't take up too much space on the desk either, so there's no feeling of creating additional clutter. Recommended.

Good but basic, functional monitor stand
This is a good basic stand for raising the height of a desk monitor. The draw which will hold A4 paper is useful. It is plastic, but quite robust nevertheless. The legs are adjustable. Basic and plastic-looking but does the job.
