Vibe 2” Cool Pod Convoluted Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper, Queen

I got this to take the air mattress a bit more comfortable. It worked great. This made the air mattress almost like an actual bed. It did have a bit of a chemical smell when unpacked, but it didnt take long to air it out. Although it didnt seem very cooling it was still very comfortable to sleep on. It is a good quality item and fairly priced.

It is reversible, depending on how you like it touching your body, either flat or bumpy side (as pictured).The feel is that of memory form, soft enough but not too soft. It keeps the shape (good bounce back). The whole mattress is made of spongy form, and not the typical "gel" like material. It still gives you a cool feeling. If you like to add softness to your mattress, this would do the job.

I was not too impressed with this mattress topper. First thing I noticed is that it came in grey instead of blue as pictured. I actually exchanged mind thinking I received the wrong product, but the second one came identical to the first. The pattern on the foam is as pictured.The foam is comfortable on the bed, but it does not feel cooling. I didn't notice a big change in temp. It didn't make me hotter or cooler. I feel that the foam is not as strong as other mattress toppers I have used and feel that is will not last long. My biggest con is the odor. I have a strong sense of smell and notice an odor on the majority of the items I order, however, normally the smells leave fairly quickly. I let the topper air out outside for a few days and the odor is still faintly there.

The one issue I have is mitigated by how soft and comfortable it is, so although it's not perfect, it's more than made up for. I've used this on both an air mattress and a thin floor mattress, and this things makes them both feel at least almost like an actual bed. I currently have a mattress topper cover on it, and I recommend you do the same to keep it clean.The only complaint I have is that although it's very soft and comfortable, its not dense enough to give any actual support, so you'll need something extra to support your back, hips, and neck if you need that.The texture mitigates this, however. It may not add more support, but it does add to the overall feel.Paired with a soft fitted sheet, it still feels amazing to sleep on.The material quality is good for a bare mattress topper. It's been a month and a half, and there's zero deformation at all. There's been no flaking or thinning and it's stayed comfortable.It puffed up to size quickly after unpacking and it didn't have a super strong chemical smell like a lot of these tend to have, so that's good.The sizing is also exactly as specified.I don't really have any major complaints, so it's an easy recommend for me.

I thought I'd received the wrong item because I got this dark grey thing when the picture was clearly light blue. Then I unwrapped it - the SMELL! I threw it outside for a few days, checked it daily, and it wasn't until day 5 that I was willing to bring it into the house. It still smelled but it was light by then.It's quite long and it is noticeably larger than a twin. I got it for my husband's side of the bed and I now have about 1/3 of our bed that isn't covered. Their cool pod whatever doesn't cool, and it doesn't sleep cooler than other foam toppers. It's hard as a rock at first, but does soften up with time. I think that has to do with the way it's so compactly wrapped for shipping.We've had it two months now, and he's informed me that he just can't test it any longer. He sweats all night and is most uncomfortable. There is still a smell, though faint, that I don't think is going anywhere no matter how long we have it. I'm moving it to the twin guest bed for now while I decide what to do with it long term.I just can't recommend this one. The off-gassing is horrid.
