Easy to Breath With or Without Power
Beginner swimmer, so I used this to swim laps in a pool for approx 1 hour, so quite a bit of heavy breathing. Lense remained clear the entire time and was able to breathe effortlessly, non-stop for an hour!! Mask is very comfortable and not as heavy in the water as I thought it would be.I was curious what would happen if I was swimming and the battery died, so I powered it off for about 10-15 mins - breathing was still very simple, just not AS easy as it is when the power is on. As such, I have no concerns of the masks performance should the battery die in the middle of a swim.It also travels well, the tube easily folds up/down for compact travel however because it's in an all mesh bag, recommend a big ziplock to keep other things in the bag from getting wet after use.Overall, I found no flaws using this in the pool.

Buy it you won’t regret it
I love this mask. As long as you tighten & adjust it to your face it provides a great seal from water getting in while snorkeling. I just used it during a two wk trip in the Caribbean And it worked. I used it in pools to test, the beach, and snorkeling in open water sites it held up amazingly. I was pleasantly surprised considering the scuba instructor lead me to believe the mask was not good for open water but it held up much better than the masks they provided me with & kept the water out. I was able to control my breathing & breathe well in the mask. The electric option that expels the carbon is simply perfect for moderate swimmers.

An exciting snorkel prospect
The jury's still out for me on this. It's just so radically different from the typical two-piece mask/snorkel combo I'm accustomed to. I have a trip coming up in a couple months where I'll get to try this out in the open water and really put it to the test. In the meantime, I tried it out in the bathtub! My initial impression was that it was pretty uncomfortable - just the pressure required to keep a seal around the entire circumference of your face is a lot. However, the fan mechanism did seem to make breathing through it quite easy. It didn't fog up at any point during my little bathtime adventure. However, a small amount of water did trickle in at the sides - I did notice that the seal did not seem to be very tight in the area above my cheekbones / next to my eyes. I have fairly prominent cheekbones, if that has anything to do with it. I hope that with more use, I'll get accustomed to the feeling of pressure on my face and chin and will really appreciate the panoramic view and freedom from fog.

Mask works better than similar budget options
I've switched to this style of mask for shallow water and surface snorkeling. I did not test it when diving or under pressure. What makes this model different:- I'm not sure if the fan is a gimmick or a real asset. I used the mask with the fan on and off, and I didn't notice a big difference in breathing ability or fogging.- I experienced no fogging with the fan on or off. I tried to get it to fog in and out of the water. Note, I was testing in warm water, so I would expect more fogging with any mask in cold water.- The fan is loud for snorkeling. I can't say that it's loud itself, but in the water, you hear the constant hum. This is going to be in the background of your video too. It's not bad but is constant white noise in the background.- When breathing in or using the fan, you feel the air blowing down on your nose and towards your eyes. I haven't felt the air like that from other masks.- This mask has two plastic wings that stick out. I'm 6'0 male with a big head, and these caught me in the face the first few times I tried it on. I changed my approach and had no trouble after that. Just be careful the first time.- The GoPro-style mount is very different than the thin clips I've had on similar masks. It locked in tight over the folding clip. I've broken these before, and this one seems to be stronger and better designed.- There is only one charging cord, so don't lose it. It works with any USB charger.- The power button lights up and is clearly visible. I'm not sure if I like that or not, but you know when the fan is on.- I tried to make it fog, but it wouldn't. I'm not sure why. It held some water on the mask when I dunked it to try to get it to fog. When breathing in or out of the water, I saw water on the lens, but no fogging. The bad:- With the separate CO2 vent, I was never able to fully clear the mask of water. I intentionally let water in to test it. When out of the water, it drains immediately. In the water, these masks are always harder to clear than a snorkel. I take deep breaths and blow out hard to clear the water out of the bottom. Water seems to go up the exhale ports. I had a constant bubbling sound when breathing out from the water that drained back in.The same as others:- The angle of the tube will be submerged if you look straight down. You need to look slightly forward to breath.- The mask slips up after longer use. I found this one stayed in place better, and I had only one time testing where I wasn't able to keep it down on my face without making further adjustments.- You have a wide and clear view. i like these much better than goggles.

Helps you breathe easier and doesn't fog
I was apprehensive to try this because the blower is electric, but I have used it on a few trips now and am impressed! It's much different than the basic snorkel and mask I've always used, and it feels heavier, but it doesn't matter once you're in the water. The blower fan automatically turns off when you go underwater and then back on when you're at the surface. I was very anxious about what would happen if the mask lost power, so I deliberately turned it off while testing it and was very relieved to find out that it still functions well. Breathing feels easier and more natural, and I've had no fogging. I'm female with an average-sized face, and the size medium fits me well without leaking. It's not a one-size-fits-all mask, so make sure you measure and get the appropriate size and test it in a pool before going on a trip!

Fan stops working inside the waater
Breathing tube outside of the water works perfectly fine.I am not able to breathe under the water with the mask. Pressure is mounting and suffocating under the water.

Love it! does assist and seal properly in face
Can't wait to use it in the ocean but it was quite the upgrade when trying it in the pool, the check valve works great when submerging and the visibility was also much better than a conventional mask, the little fan actually does make it more comfortable when breathing but the main advantage is that you nose breath instead of mouth breathing
