DuWop Cosmetics Reverse Eyeliner, Nude - Prevents Smudging and Smearing

Great for keeping you from getting raccoon eyes

Four stars because it comes close to working totally. I have tried so many eyeliners and mascaras which promise not to smudge under eyes. I give up trying to find one after a while and wait to see if someone developed a truly non-smudging makeup. I just gave up again and bought the Reverse Eyeliner hoping it would help. I had used it many years ago and it worked well. Now, though, I think there might be too many wrinkles interfering with it. It has vastly improved the smudging, but not completely. I’ll live with these results. I do recommend it.

This absolutely does not work. It doesn’t work before your eyeliner is applied or after. I tried both. It is one of my least favorite products I bought on Amazon and very over priced. I wanted this so my eyeliner doesnt run. I also bought the reverse lipliner. They look exactly the same to me. Different colors.

I don't find this always works, in fact most times it does not.

I have been using DuWop's Reverse Lipliner for years and love it so, when I saw this eyeliner, I decided to give it a try. I am always battling to keep my liner from fading and/or flaking. This eyeliner pencil is chubby and comes with a sharpener. It is clear and waxy. I apply it before I use my regular eyeliner - pencil, liquid, gel, any type - and it seals it in place and keeps it looking exactly the same as when I applied it all day.I also use this pencil as an eye shadow primer and it works fine for that purpose. The pencil is also good for plumping and smoothing little lines under and around the eye. It doesn't interfere with concealer and a little bit around the eye area helps my eyes look fresher.According to DuWop's website, this liner is "sulfate-free, petro-chemical-free, fragrance-free, dye-free, free of pthalates, no GMO's, no PPG's, no MEA, DEA, TEA's, formaldehyde-free, and triclosan-free." All excellent things NOT to have around your eyes!This works. It seems so simple and there are some dupes out there but they don't do what DuWop's Reverse Eyeliner does and that is invisibly seal liner so that it simply does not budge until you take it off. It's a bit pricey but worth it. The pencil lasts for ages. I got mine on the DuWop website when they had a sale so it wasn't quite so painful to shell out so much for an untested (on me) beauty product. I use it everyday and will buy it again when I need to.

I bought this with the lip liner and this half of the purchase was well worth the money. I use it every day with POWDER eye liners and eye shadows like the Bare Escentual Liner Shadows. I can't imagine using this with anything other than a powder liner and being happy with it, hence my emphasizing the POWDER part.The product is a clear wax eye liner pencil with something added to it to make your eye lashes grow and it really works.The product does several things.1. It keeps the liner shadow in place all day. Mine used to smudge or fall off by the end of the day.2. It keeps your liner shadow sparkles sparkley. You know how the sparkles can fall off, break up, or go from shiny to extremely dull when it gets rubbed... well using this product, you don't rub the liner shadow on your eyelids. Instead you gently place the liner shadow on top of the wax thus keeping the sparkles in tact.3. Because it's a wax and it stays put all day it does make your eye lashes grow. My eyelashes are longer and fuller than they have ever been before.4. It allows me to use my eye shadows as liners. Because the wax is thick, sticky and stays in one place, you can use less dense eye shadows as eye liners. The result is a 100% coordinated color look every day, even when you are using a 2 shade eye shadow. And the liner will look much darker than it would as a blended shadow.I use a flat brush (the one from the Eye lining Tutorial from Bare Escentuals). I dip the flat brush into the powder, tap off the end and almost blot the eye liner on top of the wax across my eye lid rim being sure to get into the lash line itself. No rubbing, no blending, just a gentle blotting action across the eye lid edge to get a solid line across and that's it.This product works great for me. I use it every day and would not go a day without it.

I have been using this product for a while and I really like it. It is invisible so it really isn't an eyeliner in the traditional sense. It's main purpose is to keep your mascara from sliding down into your undereye area and it certainly does that but I also like that it smooths out the undereye area and makes it look much better. I just swipe it under my eye before putting on my mascara. Easy and works great.
