I love this nightgown! The only caveat is that I wish it were longer. Contrary to some reviewers, I find it a wee bit short in the sleeves and hemline. However, I will not deduct a point, since I am over 5'10".I have washed and worn it several times and it hasn't changed at all. It seems to be 100% cotton and it is a thick knit and not flimsy, droopy or see-through, although I bought the white with little sprigs of pink flowers. Although it is thick, it is not hot, due to the cotton content and loose fit.DO NOT SIZE UP. I like to be on the safe side and I like to be comfortable when I sleep, so I bought an XL. I often have to buy XL in less expensive tops because I have broad shoulders, a broad back, thick arms and C/D cups. However, I really should have bought a size L. Mind you, I line dry all my clothes (I live in a hot country) so I don't know if it would shrink in a dryer. Absolutely did not budge after repeated machine washing on warm setting.Speaking of washing, the trim with all the ribbons and smocking has not budged at all. It is very pretty, looks very high quality and really seems to be well done. There were no hanging threads on this garment. Overall, I am extremely satisfied. This nightgown is great value and I would buy it again. But in size L!Edit: Also no funky or chemical odour, in case that is a concern. This is not a paid review and I don't get any sort of advantages from Amazon or the maker, sadly. It's just a great product and I wanted to let you know because I always study as many reviews as possible before choosing. Hope this helps!

Comfy material, good fit and laundered nicely.

It’s pretty, well made and a vibrant color. I was hoping it would be a softer material. Even after washing it’s a bit stiff but ok to lounge in. True to size. I’m 5’1” tall and it almost hit the ground, so perfect length. Ordered XL and weigh 190 and it fit perfectly and a little roomy. Just wish it was soft.

This nightgown sz small is perfect for my mum whom is only 4’8” tall and 88lbs. It’s a great material and perfect length. It is also very pretty and looks expensive. Washed up really well too.

Beautiful, quality nightgown! I did go up a size as I usually do on night wear. However, the sizes are true and I must return this L and reorder a medium. The nightgown is very soft 100% cotton, and quality sewn. Satin piping around neckline and edges of sleeves, and pink ribbon intertwined above smocking adds a special touch. Have no reservations about this item. I love it and cannot wait until I receive the correct size.
