Excellent off grid or emergency water pump
I have city water but I drilled a well to water my garden and lawn to save on water costs. I currently have a 110V pump installed but we have power outages frequently and some times it is off for extended periods. I probably wouldn't swap the pumps out for a few days outage but at some point I may decide to do it permanently since I already have a solar system installed on a shed near the well which would power this with no problem. Also in an extended emergency where power or city water is not available this would give peace of mind that I will have water in any circumstance (I already have an extensive filtering system to purify water for drinking).

Don't bother if you're in United states or Canada
Wouldn't you think a country manufacturing products to be sold in a different country would bother to include the adapters/connectors necessary to actually use the product? Despite the multiple adapters in the picture, there's no way to hook this pump up to the male end or the female end of a GHT (garden hose thread) hose. The pump is too small to use with a 1" or bigger water line. I would think most people in the US would use a pump like this to hook up a garden hose. I'm sure there are adapters available that would make this connection possible but for a cheap, low quality pump I'm not willing to spend the time researching the necessary diameter and thread count conversions. I didn't even bother to hook up power to this pump so I can't say how it performs but I can say that it's mostly light metal and plastic. Packing it up for return. I'll spend more money on a brand name pump that I have some faith in.

Very Well-made, Powerful, 12V Deep-well Submersible Pump
This thing works beautifully. I have a couple of wells on my homestead, one for the home and the other is out by my barn. I used to have a hand pump mounted on that one only but I now have much greater water demands as I've gotten more animals and begun a larger butchery operation there. Anyhow, the hand pump just became impractical but for emergencies (no power), I will keep it near by. Anyhow, once I dropped this bad boy in that well, and plugged it in, and turned it on, I had a whole new reason to smile. This thing can really kick out the water. I have it running off a massive custom-made li-ion battery bank, continually charged by an equally massive solar array. So having 12V power ready at 9A was a breeze and lucky for me, was already wired to my barn for other purposes, so I just tied right into it to provide power to this little beast. I am very pleased with this pump but since I just got it installed, I cannot speak to the longevity of the device, so I will update this review if it ever fails or becomes problematic. Highly recommended.
