Starting an Etsy Business for Dummies Paperback – January 1, 2013

Glad I bought this book before setting up an Etsy shop. It has tons of information about how to start a fully functioning, productive, and appealing site to make sure your hand-crafted items get the most attention. It also directs you to many online resources for help. Excellent purchase!

I recently started a business on Etsy. This book was my bible. I did'nt know anything about Etsy and this book was used frequently to get us off on the right foot. Well worth it if you are thinking about opening a shop on Etsy. Highly recommended.

This book is the perfect guide for beginners and those who have experience with etsy. It answered a lot of questions on how to and taught me so many other things that I needed to do in order to improve my etsy shop. Since making some of the needed changes the traffic on my etsy shop has almost doubled.I love it!!

I have been wanting to start up an account on Etsy. Being as I'm always multi-tasking I thought it would be easier to read through something first before getting started on-line. And then, too, having a starting and stopping point just for the thinking process. In other words, I'm letting someone else, who has been there before me, organize my thoughts into sequence.....just for easing the process. I haven't read the whole thing yet. But I have used "Dummy" books before for the same reasons and found them to be really helpful.

Tells you every you need to know in order to start an Etsy store. I'm a huge fan of this series; I used to make fun of it until I read one and realized how wrong I was... I felt so stupid because I could have been learning so much but I'm glad I finally read one and can honestly say the series is incredible, including this book. If you want to start an Etsy store I'd highly recommend buying this book.

I paid for this and never received it. Not able to find it anywhere or a phone # to contact. Would appreciate help on how to resolve this problem...thank you.

Great book for beginners, hence the title. However, for someone like me who has already started there Etsy shop and wanted to see if they could improve on anything, not as helpful. It is a very detailed guide on everything from first signing up for Etsy to choosing the right camera for photography. It might make a good reference book, but most of this I can find just as easily by googling. Also, even just being published in 2013, it is very out of date. Shop Policies along with treasuries have changed drastically. There's a nice section on branding as well as social media. Overall, a great book for beginners to Etsy wanting to sell crafts, but not to even semi-experienced shop owners. I would recommend other guides for those of you looking to improve your already developed shop.

This book had all the info that I was looking for to start an Etsy shop. If you do not know anything about the process then this is a good book for you too.
