Brilliant Addon
Excellent addition to my Topens AT602. Simple to connect to the system as if its a remote. Allowing you to use your phone to control your gates. I can now use Google home to open my gates as well. Highly recommend

Easy of connection to the WIFI

Simple but effective
It does exactly what it needs to - the app integration is a simple one button to open, stop and closeIt integrates with Alexa and you can create your own phrases to activate (we use open and close sesame)Only note is that smart integration is limited as it’s just one button so the same phrase or action and perform all 3 actions (open, stop and close) - the issue here is that if you want to auto close the gates at night at a set time and they are already closed the same action executed will open them back up

Smart settings can only work on a single phone
I brought this to use on my sliding gate. Works perfectly on my phone but if I share the device to my partners she only has access to basic settings and cannot use any of the scene features. I have now been told they only work on a single device. 😭

This product has allowed me to control my gates from anywhere,well built product ,easy to follow fitting instructions,as long as you have wi-fi to contact to with in range of the gates ( the tc 196 needs to connect to wi-fi ,then the Bluetooth works to the gates max range of 600metres )

Subpar interface limited functionality
Install was very easy and quality seems pretty good the smart functionality of the app is not great I tried to use it for multiple users and yes it can be done but it’s pretty subpar in its management and access information. There are much better equally Priced solutions out there that give you information on history etc who opened the gate and when this is simply a button pushed notification

Works as it should
I had been wanting to control my gates via wifi for sometime, but could only kind third party generic wifi switches. If you have a good knowledge of software I'm sure the generic switches would work, but i didnt want the headache of trying.I have a Topens swing gate and as soon as I saw this was available I purchased it. Yes its a little pricey, but the simplicity of set up and knowing it had been made to work with the Topens gate, did it for me.Easy to set up and once it is, it works as it should. I can now control the gate from wherever I have internet connection and when Im at home it is voice activated via alexa, so no more searching for my keys when someone is at the gate, just ask alexa to open it... it is a great addition for anyone wanting to add wifi control to your Topens gate system
