Lectura obligada.

A Must-Read for Decision-Makers and Data Scientist Alike
Decision-Driven Analytics by Bart De Langhe and Stefano Puntoni offers a fresh perspective on data-driven decision-making.The authors challenge the notion that our decisions should be entirely driven by data and instead propose what they call decision-driven analytics. The central idea is that data gains real value when used to support decisions already identified as crucial.I highly recommend reading this book to all decision-makers, as well as those who, like me, have a background as a Data Scientist, for the following reasons:1. Enriches Decision-Making Perspective: It provides a structured and practical approach to using data more effectively.2. Improves Collaboration: It promotes better collaboration between managers and analysts, aligning strategic objectives with data analysis.3. Fosters a Culture of Informed Decision-Making: It helps create an organizational culture that values well-founded decisions.4. Maximizes Data Value: It teaches how to focus analyses on generating actionable insights that truly impact the business.

Essential Reading for Navigating the Modern Data Landscape
"Decision Driven Analytics" by Bart De Langhe and Stefano Puntoni is a truly exceptional book that I highly recommend. The authors have crafted a work that is not only accessible but also deeply insightful, regardless of your background in business or analytics. Through timely and clever examples, they illustrate key concepts in a way that is both engaging and easy to comprehend. More importantly, the book goes beyond just the mechanics of data; it challenges readers to reflect on the underlying reasons behind their decisions—a perspective that is increasingly crucial in today's complex world. This book is a valuable resource for anyone looking to harness the power of data with greater purpose and understanding.-Greetings from Norway:)

The right relationship between decisions and data analysis.
I had the opportunity to read this fantastic book. This is a book that clearly explains how, today, data must be correctly used by scholars and managers, for a better decision-making process. In the book, the authors, clearly show the differences between the traditional “data-driven approach” and the new “decision-driven approach”. The book, therefore, helps the reader in understanding why thinking “without data” is crucial to really make better decisions. The authors offer, throughout the book, several examples that help the reader understanding the right cultural approach, the right steps, and the specific procedures, to correctly use data and get the best insights. This is the first book that introduces and explains guidelines to develop, in companies, an effective use of data analytics. The extensive global academic and consulting experience of the authors gives robustness to the book, which I think is a must-have for marketing and business management students, PhD candidates, academics, consultants, executives and analysts, in general for everybody that deals with data analysis.

Digestable, informative & thought provoking
As someone who is just starting my career in project management, I found many parallels with work. I will definitely put the concepts from the book into practice! Also: It's a real breath of fresh air for a book to be that digestible. Anyone, regardless of background, will be able to read & understand it. It's less of a theory book, and more about shifting your mindset.
