Helps heal quicker
This stuff is great. I love this for cuts, scrapes, burns, etc.. It helps speed up the healing process. It is lightweight on the skin and doesn’t leave an oily residue. This is perfect for my sensitive skin. I even use it on my 15 month old when she gets bumps and scrapes and it works so well on her sensitive skin as well and helps speed up her healing.

Open-Heart Surgery Incision and Tube Wounds
Had open-heart surgery five weeks ago. My 13” scar looked angry and red the fourth day after surgery, with the top of the incision, right below my neck, looking as big as a 1/2 red tennis ball poking up under the skin. And it hurt! While in the hospital, asked six nurses, one NP, two cardiologists, and a resident about it. All just nodded. Five days later, at home, asked the visiting home care nurse about possible infection. Got the same answer…if it gets infected, we can open it and put a wound dressing on it.Ya think?? I preferred to be a bit more pro-active.Looked infected to me. But, what do I know? On the next visit, the home nurse freaked, and sent pictures to the surgeon. She was insisting he see me that very day. According to her, this was about to burst and that would put me back in the hospital. Surgeon declined to see me and prescribed antibiotics.Six years previous, I had great results using this product (recommended by a friend) on my dog’s infected ear, which the vet kept cutting small portions off because it was infected, and the tissue was dieing.I asked every medical professional listed above if I could used this product on my incision. Each looked at the product for two seconds before saying no. Never read what it was or what it even contained. All…just a flat NO!After the nurse freaked, and not wanting to return to the hospital, I took matters into my own hands. I cleaned the wound (using q-tips) twice daily with a product from Amazon called Hibiclens (Chlorhexidine Gluconate solution 4.0% w/v), gently dried it, then using a different q-tip gently applied this collodial silver to the incision, including the two gaping wounds where tubes were inserted into my chest. On the next visit (3 days later) the nurse was astounded and taking pictures of this product. Never saw any healing like this. Saw the surgeon’s NP a few days later. She said she never saw the lips of the two tube wounds close so well and so quickly. She also took pics of the product. Also said, that if she had been asked, she would have told me NOT to use this product, just like all the other medical professionals I asked had told me.This is why I’m writing this review. It has been five weeks. Scar and wounds are healing beautifully. All medical professionals are stunned. This is not medical advice. It is my experience. I will always have two bottles of this stored in my house.Oh.. also had pain in the skin under my color bone. Any fabric touching it was very uncomfortable. NP said it was nerve pain from the surgery which sometimes happen. Just a little of this product, on a tissue, gently applied to the skin stopped the pain in a few minutes. Used it twice a day, for a short time.Best of luck with whatever you are dealing with, especially if you’ve read this far. Hugs, and I hope you feel better soon.

Great gel formulation that kills germs and hastens healing
Great product! Although it seems expensive at first glance, the contents of each canister go unexpectedly far. The product is virtually odorless, and --although the gel formulation goes on "wet" (as any gel would) -- it dries quickly leaving the area with just a very-slighly "tacky" feel that I don't find unpleasant or distracting. It's not nearly sticky enough to adhere to clothing.Virtually the only negative I've found is that the product stings when used on a raw, open sore. Actually, let me change that to be more accurate: It hurts like crazy, to the point of eyes tearing up. That is the reason i subtracted one star.My husband was putting this gel on an open sore from a large blister on my back yesterday, and he nearly had to peel me off the ceiling. However, I've only had this happen a few times in about a year of using this gel, and I've used it over some pretty nasty sores. The few times it hurts to apply, i just try to push through it; any pain has always ended very quickly.Silver has properties that both kill germs and encourage healing, and this product seems to deliver in both realms; any area I've treated has remained uninfected, and has also seemed to heal relatively quickly.

MIRACLE GEL ???
Structured Colloidal Silver Gel Extra Strength 35ppmAfter applying to some problem areas of my skin, an improvement was noticed overnight. Continued use has shone further improvement. What can I say ???THIS STUFF WORKS !!!I've read about people having problems with 100 ppm solutions. The 35 ppm is the strongest that I have tried.IT MAY BE LIKE GLUE .... MORE IS NOT NECESSARLY BETTER.

Effective Silver Gel -- I Like It A Lot
The thing that made me try this Silver Gel at first was the ingredients: It only has "water, carbopol, sodium bicarbonate, silver, and citric buffer." I was using a different brand of silver gel, which I found quite effective at speeding up the healing of cuts, but that product left a sticky feeling. This Extra Strength Silver Gel by My Doctor Suggests doesn't feel sticky. I had an armpit skin rash, both arms. This gel was effective at clearing it up rather quickly. Interesting to note: I of course stopped using underarm deodorant due to the rash, and just applied this gel. I found that this gel is an effective underarm deodorant (with very little of the gel necessary to use, which is good since using a lot daily would be quite expensive). My Doctor Suggests company does not list underarm deodorant as a use for this gel on their Website, so I do not know if it would be recommended to use this silver gel every single day under your arms, instead of a typical deodorant. Perhaps someone from the company can post a reply comment here saying if it would be safe to do that. The gel is completely fragrance-free, which I love. The pump dispenser is very nice. It is easy to just pump out small amounts at a time, if desired.I recommend people try this gel to speed up healing of cuts and scrapes, too. It worked for me. I bought more.
