I wanted a non WiFi enabled monitor because I had privacy concerns and didn't want to rely on servers etc for this to function. I have to say, I'm amazed at how good this unit is for the price. It just works.The screen is nice and big and the picture quality is excellent even in low light or darkness. It has a nice range of features and the ability to pan the camera around is ideal as baby gets bigger and moves around in his sleep. It shows you the room temperature at the camera end which is a great little bonus.We used it in "constant on" mode for the first few months and the battery lasts about 3 or 4 hours. Having switched to the noise detection mode where the monitor is in standby until baby makes noise, we now only have to charge the unit every few days, maybe even just once a week.Connection is flawless anywhere in our house (2500 sqft). Our living room is at the opposite end of the house and downstairs from baby's cot and we've never had a connection issue. My wife doesn't even bother to extend the aerial most of the time. We've had it out in the garden while baby is napping upstairs and it still works.The intercom is nice to have, mainly to talk to my wife when she's upstairs soothing baby or vice versa. We don't really use the music but it works just fine.Very simple to set up and use, just take it out of the box and plug it in.There's an option to add a second camera if needs be which is great if you've got two babies to monitor. But I haven't tested that.All in all, a very impressive bit of kit at an astonishingly affordable price. Can't say a bad word about it, just get it!

The product was great at first, and the big screen is good. But the camera stopped working for no reason 3 months after purchase, but I did notice the camera gets quite warm.

I am happy with my purchase. Picture quality is good, and the unit appears to be well made. My only criticism is that the battery for the main monitor, will only last for two nights, even with the economy mode switched on. I think a slightly bigger battery would make this a 5 star product.

Wanted to Upgrade the camera for littles bed room, bought this as a stop gap and it’s better than any I’ve seen! Says the camera doesn’t have a built in battery but the camera was not plugged in and the monitor on vox mode was going crazy and showing a clear picture. Picture quality is amazing, you can use the hand held to move the camera about, zoom, vox, you name it! Well built, feels nice and solid. Sound quality is fab and vox mode is a life saver, 3 days in and not had to charge the hand held once. Cannot get over how good value for money this camera is.

I’ve had it for 9 months and wouldn’t rebuy. The buttons stopped working after 2 months so wasn’t able to move the camera. The monitor kept making a clicking sound while on night mode. Pressed the left arrow and it’d play music instead of increasing the volume on the monitor. Overall wouldn’t recommend

It becomes hot if you keep too long..I think it could be dangerous if left overnight

I have to say I’m impressed by how well this is built. It’s really solid and the buttons press satisfyingly. The screen is good for what it is (it’s not super hd but why do you need that?!). And importantly, the night vision is satisfactory even when zoomed in (again for the purpose).I can’t say yet how responsive it is when relying on it to notify you about baby noise. But, so far, so good.
