Works for my elderly mom who has begun to confuse day/night. Keeping proper time, alarms are fiddly to set up. No issues with it yet.

I purchased this clock for my 89 year old mother and she absolutely loved it!! She was constantly forgetting the days of the week, as well as the date. She would constantly ask me what the date was. I tried a monthly paper calendar, but that had to be constantly crossed off and she would forget to do it, so that didn't work out. Therefore, I searched for something that would keep her on track. The numbers are big enough to see from across the room. It also acts as a night light (set at the brightest setting, which was her preference) because she uses a walker, and when she gets up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, she does not have to put the light on. Another feature is the medication reminder alarm I set for her. It has several different alarms you can customize. The alarm goes off by itself without manually being shut off. This clock has become a nice conversation piece when she talks on the phone with her friends. She tells them "I got this beautiful clock, that tells me the date, day of the week, and the time because I was constantly forgetting." After hearing this, they said they need one too. Now when she wakes up from a nap in the afternoon, she doesn't get confused about it being day or night because it states morning, afternoon, or night. Which automatically set itself when plugged in. I am very pleased with this purchase! Side note: The month, day, and year line is smaller than the time and day of the week.

My mother loves this product

I bought this for the bedroom. Even though I set the brightness to the lowest level (and choosing a white on black readout), the supposed auto brightness doesn't take it any lower and the result is way too much brightness for an otherwise dark bedroom. So I have to turn the unit off in order to sleep, which defeats the purpose of knowing the hour at any time. Also, adjusting the settings is difficult only because the instructions are inadequate. Once I figured out the necessary sequence of buttons, it wasn't hard. Otherwise, I like the clock: nice size, easy to read, useful information displayed.

I bought this for myself. My sleep hours can shift dramatically due to health issues, and I do get confused. I love just glancing at this clock, and I know if it is am or pm and the day of the week. It grounds me.

Vivid lettering... Eases my Father's angst about day, time of day, and time awareness

Clear day, date, time period of day, medication reminder display and alarm and at least 4 alarms to set daily. Only negative, the supporting leg to stand it up, is quite short and a bit unstable, especially when my parents touch screen to turn off medication reminder alarms. The first one bought in June 2019 (now Sept) fell off coffee table and leg attachment broke. Told replacement from China would cost USD15. I decided to buy a new clock, which arrived 2 days after I ordered it!! Great service Amazon!

This was purchased for a 91 year old friend who has dementia. It is perfect for her as when she wakes up in the night, she can see the time without having to fumble around for glasses. She also has difficulty with remembering what day it is and the clock shows the day, date and whether it is morning or afternoon. Absolutely perfect.
