Looks great and it is really thermal. It will hild ice without melting for hours.TIP: as any metal, the interior will transfer heat to the ice in the beginning, until the metal temperature is balanced with the contents. I leave the bucket in the freezer, without the lid, for 10 minutes before using it. Then when I put the ice it will just continue with the balance and take much longer to start melting. Do it with any metallic thermal containers and your drinks and food will keep hot or cold for much longer.

I just received this and love it, it's a solid looking piece.But I don't understand why the black rubber rim around the lid is very thin and flimsy, my shirt sleeve catches on it after I replace the lid (lifts the rubber upward). I removed the rubber ring but it really belongs on the bucket. The lid seals very nicely with the rubber in place.That aside (which isn't a big deal, really) I honestly think it's a beautiful ice bucket.
