I used this kit to rescreen a door and was honestly surprised at how simple it was thanks to the tools provided. The rollers worked smoothly, and the spline was easy to press in without slipping. Having both the hook tool and clips made the whole job much faster and more manageable. The mesh was high quality, easy to cut without fraying, and looked great once installed. Exactly what was needed to repair window screen big even works for above average screens.plenty of material and all tools needed. Razor know makes it easier but scissors would do I’m sure. Fair price . Good quality , easy to use . And it is the normal thickness for matching my other window screens . A+

I just got done re-screening my door. It took me about 45 minutes (solo). The screen & spline went in easy enough. I still don't know how to really set the spline into the corners though. I tried using the removal tool (it comes w/a protective cover) due to the curved neck - I thought it would help to push the spline into the corners. It did - some. While I like the product, I wish the seller would explain better why there are 2 rollers - 1 metal, 1 plastic. How/when/why should you use one vs. the other. The clips did nothing - wouldn't fit my door but I didn't really need them. I just kept the screen semi-taught with one hand while I rolled the spline in with the other.

Such an easy fix for an old screen door. Good quality and durable screen material -- the kit comes with all the tools you need for a custom fit. The screen has already gone through a full year of tough seasonal weather (and lots of daily use) in the hills of rural New England --- and it still looks great! No wear, rips, or tears. Good material thickness, flexible, allows the air in, and keeps all but the smallest bugs out in the summer. Still have plenty of screen material left for other replacements, too.

The media could not be loaded. Being a home owner trying to couple dollars with either replacing new or hiring help- I decided to try my hand at re screening . This kit came with everything I needed. Very simple process. I looked up a video and did it myself. I was so proud of myself felt like bob the builder. Almost a year now the screen and rubber have stayed. I’m surprised at the quality of everything for the price. I recommend

great kit with all the tools you need. Just be careful not to trim anything until the end or you’ll come up short. Lay the tubing first with the grooved side of the roller tool, then going over your progress with the blades side works well. Go slow. A flathead screwdriver comes in handy for the corners. A boxcutter trims the edges of the screen if you lay it flush against the tubing after rescreening is complete. Looks real nice.This is the first screen I’ve done and I found it was pretty easy.

As a chick fixer, I was hoping this would be easy to use. It was! My kitchen screen was torn to shreds by my cat. The kitchen window came out beautifully, and I had enough to do the screen on my back door too. My husband was impressed at how taught I was able to get the screen thanks to those clamps that came in the kit. We have enough screen to do 2 more windows if needed! Definitely go for this one! It’s a great value and the tools included are perfect!!!!
