Excellent value and design at this price point
For the price point this offers an awful lot in a watch. I'm so impressed with this timepiece. Basics are it's a 200M dive watch, compressor style, with the dive time ring controlled by one of the screw down crowns - different and nice for under a shirt etc, won't snag. Sapphire crystal face and movement caseback window too. I think 316L stainless steel - a nice combination of polished to the outer face and brushed sides and shoulders. Crowns polished. Strap is very comfortable in silicone. No dive extension but it's quite a long strap so plenty of space , even on my 7 inch wrists. Movement is a miyota 8125 I believe - very robust and accuracy ok for this price - it can be calibrated more if you would like to although I have a lot of watches and although I haven't put this on my timegrapher yet I often find out of the factory miyota movements can be a lot more accurate than the specs, off the line - they are so good at this ! It's a pretty watch and the luminova is excellent. Legibility from the batton hands and applied markers is really good and the orange minute hand is unmissable. Don't hesitate it's really well put together and packaged - early days so I may update but nothing not to like so far. I would like to see signed crowns but at this price point you can't expect that and the margin has gone into the main importance of the watch 😀

An excellent all round use watch.
I have worn an Omega Seamaster for many years but felt I should have a watch to wear when I am working around the house and garden to save potential damage to the Omega. I chose the Berny because it was automatic (I'm old school!), appeared to be tested for use in water (so one can shower or swim with it on) and seemed robust. I can report that two weeks in I am very pleased with the watch. It arrived next day in its original shrink-wrapped box with a certificate. It is easy to set up and the wrist strap was big enough for my 8" circumference wrist. In fact I cut a small section of the tab end off as it was catching on things. On the day I received it I set the watch by the Greenwich time signal and in the next 12 days it lost 15 seconds (my Omega gains 12 seconds in the same period). The date window is a bit small but I understand the manufacturers have to be able to fit in 31 numbers! It is quite a chunky watch but if you look at the clear window pane on the reverse of the watch there seems to be a lot going on inside! The luminosity is startling bright in the dark and the diving style hands are very easy to see. I find I am now wearing it more than the Omega and having encountered no downsides, am pleased to report that I am very happy with my choice of watch.

Great watch, lume okay
Well-made well-fitting and visually clear and appealing watch, great value for the price, keeps good time and can be hand-wound as well as using kinetic winding, great lume in the main though the orange lume elements do not last for more than a few hours hence four not five stars.

Works
Nice watch….some users complained that the mechanism is noisy - yes you can hear it working away but not that loud. Strap could be a bit more sturdy - rubber is a bit too soft. I have had the watch a few days and it keeps perfect time. I am not a diver and never will be so I have no idea if the watch would sustain water pressure - that is for others to decide … but for dry land operation this is a great watch. Update few months after purchase - this watch keeps perfect time. Really is excellent value for money.

Well engineered and smartly designed.
Excellent value, accurate time keeping and good solidly built watch. Strap soft and comfortable slightly overlong, made to go over a wet suit maybe? Instructions are vague and not specific to this particular watch. More of an overview for automatic watches. I advise go to you tube for help on operation of this watch. I am pleased with my purchase. Highly recommended.

Excellent watch for the price
I purchased this watch to replace a Tauchmeister automatic divers' watch that I had bought about 8 years ago for £150; the Tauchmeister has just developed a fault affecting the crown and is probably not worth fixing owing to the repair cost approaching the cost of such an inexpensive watch. Having watched YouTube videos on Berny watches with afficionados extolling their virtues, I bought this one. It is incredible value for money, and it oozes quality. What amazed me was the timekeeping: it lost a few seconds the first day, then it gained 10 seconds virtually overnight, and 4 days later it is running about 5 seconds fast; that averages out to be virtually nothing, and it is far better than my quartz battery watch... astonishing! I did not like the silicone strap, but for a small amount I bought the milenese one in the photo; as you can see, that is also Berny and fantastic quality. Overall, I am very, very impressed so far.

Excellent watch
Excellent watch, strap not so good. Very rough, okay over a wetsuit but not against bare skin. Had to spend another £18 on a replacement strap. Not happy.

Became a Berny fan after this one. THE LUME IS AMAZING. Personally, after comparing it to other watches and even bigger name brands in this price range, I think the overall quality and design philosophy are excellent. This is not a homage or a cheap watch. It uses quality materials and offers a fresh take inspired by 80s to 90s compressor style diver watches. I went for the blue dial cause its a very versatile color choice and it's an amazing color contrast with the orange on the bezel. The dial size is medium and fits most wrists, the band is a little longer due to ("divers" who would be wearing them on their wrist with a wet suit on...) but well sized. The Berny name throws some people off, but I actually like it, it's a great reference to Bern, Switzerland, the capital of the watch world. As someone who enjoys watch history, I think it is a cool and thoughtful touch. Comfort on the wrist is phenomenal. The integrated silicone band gives it a clean, smooth look and it is textured nicely. It does not feel like a random strap thrown on. It curves naturally around the wrist and wears very well. The watch feels slightly heavier than a Casio Duro, which I personally like. The accuracy is one of my favorite parts instead of using a cheaper movement they chose to use a workhorse movement the Miyota 8215 or possibly the 8205. On the topic of the movement if this is your first automatic it will be even better because instead of just a plain stainless steel back they have a sapphire crystal exhibition case back and to some its not that interesting but to me its been a couple months since I got it but I still stare at the movement for an extended period, its just so amazing how its like a beating heart on your wrist (hackable seconds btw). The additional date complication under the positional 3 on the face is subtle and well placed that is perfectly sized to not catch your eye every time you look at the dial but only during the times you actually need it. The watch uses 316L stainless steel which is an industry standard and not only that instead of what most brands do they decided to use sapphire crystal on both the front AND back so the durability of the watch is even stronger. I love the dive bezel in the case cause sure you have to unscrew the screw down crown to use it it keeps the watch looking a lot cleaner. Always screw the crowns back in you don't want to let water in that way. The packaging is also amazing nice box with a pillow for the watch. I like keeping it in there when I don't have it on my wrist its like an included watch display lol also partly because I am out of space in my watch box. You are getting a reliable brand, a workhorse movement, sapphire crystal front and back, an exhibition case back, around a 40 hour power reserve, screw down crowns, and better multi color lume than even some luxury watches. Most importantly, it is a NEW design, not the same recycled look you see everywhere else on Amazon. This is a watch that can last for years, even decades, if treated well. If your on the edge of getting this watch wait for a sale. It is absolutely worth it. In my collection, even more expensive watches do not beat the 3 COLOR LUME not only that IT IS BRIGHT and not just for a couple minutes the LUME LASTS HOURS in daylight it easily lasts for 5-7 hours in the dark.

L'orologio è come mi aspettavo.
