Easy to grow gourd in 7B!
My first year gardening very little grew but these plants proliferated and I got some gourds! They are resilient because believe me nothing much else survived. I live in the Memphis Tennessee area zone 7B I think.

Takes a while but well worth it!
They took forever to grow. I thought they wouldn’t do anything but here we are a few months later and they have completely covered the arched trellis over my garden boxes. Will definitely plant these again!

Wow
Wow! Surprised me. I got a package in Jan and I seeded them in soil keep them indoor for some weeks. They grew inside but they didnt look very healthy die to lack of sunlight. When the weather a little better, I asked my husband to plant outside. With no care taking and much hope, we didnt think they would live. But surprisingly, they grow to be healthy and produce a bunch of gourds. In the picture is only half of gourds. There re still many I haven’t picked. I never eat this gourd before. I looked them up and people say it’s edible. I cooked one yesterday with shrimp and wow, it’s yummy. I love it. Want to share the result. It’s absolutely worth $5 By the way, this is planted in VA zone.

Did not germinate for me.
It's funny that there's a 30 day window on an agricultural product, like you don't buy seeds, germinate them, plant them, and make certain that they grow into what they're supposed to. As you can tell by the one star review, these gourds never made it over the finish line. Not a single seed resulted in a plant, let alone a harvest of bottle gourds, which is a shame because now I'm a whole year behind on crafting them. When they don't sprout, it's not like you can rewind time and get back to spring. Well, better luck next year. I'm past the window for refunds. Some people have 5 stars -- I wish you luck if you purchase these.

Growing Great
Growing beautifully (right side in picture) I have more growing since the this picture. I have 8 growing so far that are large and 4 new little ones starting. I will more next year dedicating one whole side of the arch to just gourds (and not mixing with beans and cucumbers-which all did great just expanding garden size).
