Improved Quality of Life for your Arthirtic Dog
These braces has worked great - I should have bought these earlier , I have a 14.5 yr old Golden Retriever with arthritis that struggled to stand up and once standing was very wobbly, 80% of the time I needed to pick her rear end up to get her to her feet , she would walk 10-20 feet and lay down again and thought I'd have to put her down soon. I ordered the braces , expedited the order , they arrived , and I put these on her hind legs. I wasn't expecting much but I helped her up to her feet once , seemed odd but immediately I noticed she seemed more stable and her legs were not twitching as much (wobbly) , she walked further , went to her hiding spot (signal she wanted to play) I threw the ball and she fetched it. I place the braces on every morning and take them off at night, We are now able to take longer more frequent walks , she can get up on her own and does not appear to struggle at all. Lucy has been wearing these braces for 3 weeks now and seems to be getting stronger and stronger. I believed these braces has help extend her life , quality of life , and is well worth the cost.

They do provide some support & my dog does not mind them.
While these are nothing like the ankle brace the vet will fit you with, I do believe these provide some support. A big plus is, my dog does not mind wearing them. Sometimes I forget & leave them on most of the day, he doesn't care. I do wish we could buy just one leg or the other.

Good everyday hock brace
It is hard to come by a good quality hock brace. Sooner or later, the velcro wrap becomes less adherent, often earlier than you would have expected for the price you bought it for. So far, compared to all other braces we have bought, this one is holding up. The quality and craftsmanship is good. Because of how the velcro adheres, it also consequently provides better support as you can compress the wrap and it stays throughout the walk. This is currently our everyday hock brace for our almost 2 year old arthritic golden retriever who also has hip dysplasia on both sides. I will still continue to try other braces as our beloved dog will always need one for the rest of his life. So far though, this is the best we have tried.

Keeps sliding down my Rotts leg....
Looks pretty good & somewhat sturdy upon opening the package. Bought the Correct Size according to the sizing chart. Good way of indexing the size & proper placement is by lining up the REAR HOCK NOTCH-OUT & then attach the velcro straps above & below that. Then minutes later when she starts ti walk, the starr sliding down. No for the VEST/WORST complaint: Ivd never dealt with, what I consider, the Strongest Velcro on planet earth! The GRIP & HOOK/LOOP POWER is so strong that it's ANNOYING RIDICULOUS ALREADY! So hard to open ( not a weakling by any stretch of the imagination)! You decide!....... In da Garbage they go!

Lightweight Support
Excellent sizing chart – my dog measured a full size smaller than I would’ve assumed (and almost ordered automatically – good thing I checked!). The braces fit perfectly, he seemed comfortable in them, and they appeared to be very well made. However, despite being referred to as strong support and appearing in the photos as quite structured, they are very much a lightweight brace, offering what seems to be about as much support as an Ace bandage. My boy needs a little more structure, so I’m returning to try the metal-reinforced version. But if a simple, lightweight support is all you need, this will probably do the job.

Nicely made but zero support
I tried 4 difference sizes on my dog because these seemed like they could help with this little ankle roll my dog does on his back legs, but after trying several sizes, I'm not convinced the issue is sizing. The design doesn't really offer much support. It could be because dog legs are hairy so there's not enough grip or that the hock area is pretty boney so it kind of fits on there like a lamp shade or something. In any case, I really liked the quality of them but maybe not great for bigger dogs with skinnier/longer legs. Probably best for thicker legs, if it does much at all. Also price point is a little excessive given the amount of material and simplicity of the thing. Par for the course with pet supplies though, right? TLD; too flimsy & weak fit for an 80lb dog with skinny boney legs. No stability. Sad these didn't work out for us.

Changed my 14 year old dogs life
If you're on the fence about buying these, you should. I have a 14 year old beagle mix whos back legs would bow in and fall. She also would knuckle her back legs because of it and drag her feet.. She couldn't lift herself up to her feet despite still being so vital. I though I'd try making a wheel chair, or what this meant for her quality of life and longevity. I read these braces helped stabilize the leg, and was apprehensive thinking it wouldn't be tall enough and its not the whole leg yaddayadda. Im glad I didn't let that stop me from trying. Amazing, immediate results. I put them on and shes able to stand up on her feet without bowing over. She can walk around the house instead of being stuck to one room. I've had them for over a month now, and her legs are so much stronger. She's able to walk down our back steps which is a big deal because prior her legs would simply buckle in and she'd fall. These not only make her happier to have, but strengthen her legs where the muscle weakened from disuse. She can take walks again around the block, slow and steady! When they're off, she's still able to walk around my home to go check out different rooms and beds. Its truly made me so happy to see such a dramatic change and know how much happier she is.

There were great braces, but my little dog legs where to small for him. I would need a pair Rey tiny.

Excellent product great for my Westie and seems to be helping with his Arthritis in his knee joint. He now walks properly and his legs are getting the muscle back making it comfortable to walk further.

Great fit, well made and does a brilliant job to help support our dog with arthritis.

I measured my Yorkie and ordered the correct size, but they didn't fit well. However, the quality was fine and I have no complaints about the actual product. It's really important to note that these fall under Amazon's non-returnable items, so if you don't get the right size the first time, you've lost the money. I spoke to customer service and they were kind enough to refund me, but I suspect that will depend on who you speak to, so be prepared to spend £42 on 2 bits of useless neoprene if they don't fit!!
