Works great!
I purchased this item to pick up garbage in our local park... it is wooded and some items are hard to get too. It works fantastic for this! I have also learned that I can use it to reach things as well, such as the bird feeder. I am 5'5" and although not short, I do have difficulty reaching many things! My only qualm is that the tip does not close as tightly as I would like it to. Very fine items fall through.

Expect that you can only pick up lite items, but that’s okay. I like it.
As expected you can only lift lite items but that is okay. It works great.

Not the best suction
I need these to pick up the clean socks in the bottom of the wash machine due to me being 5'4. Sometimes it doesn't grip multiple socks. I can't imagine picking up something with more weight.
