1000 WATT PURE SINE POWER INVERTER 12 VOLT DC TO 120V AC

I was looking for a Pure Sine Wave Inverter that had 3 outlets rather than the normal 2 that most have in this Wattage range. This was one of the few I found. I was reading some of the product reviews and wondered if I was taking a chance with Royal Power. I am pleased to say that my unit arrived perfect and has performed as advertised. I ran a window air conditioner off this unit which pulled 960 watts and this inverter had no problem keeping up.The fan is a little on the noisy side when the unit is near full load but I really can not complain as that's to be expected with any inverter at near max load. Royal Power advertises this unit to pull less than 1 amp at no load but I found it to be right at about an amp draw. The remote works fine but I have no need for it as I turn the unit off when not in use.For those wondering I have this unit pulling DC power for a True Deep Cycle AGM battery that's rated at 125 AH. I have found (based on the 1 hour draw) that this unit is right around 92 percent efficient. So 1 amp in equals .92 amps out. This number will vary slightly based on load.Overall for the price I am very pleased with this product. There are other inverters at the same wattage and more efficient but for at least twice the price. I plan on purchasing a larger inverter when I expand my off grid layout.
