Dog Cone Soft Pet Recovery Collar, Pet Cone Pet Recovery Collar, Adjustable Dog Cone Collar After Surgery for Medium Large Dogs (M)

Bought for my Mastiff x Rottweiler puppy after he had emergency surgery.Cone was soft enough for his comfort, but sturdy enough to prevent him getting at his stitches.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this to replace an inflatable ring collar after my dog's cruciate surgery. It does the job 100% of stopping him licking his wound.It's soft but sturdy, breathable fabric is great and my dog can fully relax with it on...unlike the donut ring he had previously.My dog's own collar can be threaded through the elasticated loops and this ensures he can't shake or pull the cone collar off.The addition of the 2 straps on the cone collar gives extra security to remain in place.The velcro is super strong which is great for holding it in place, however, it spooks my dog when undoing it, as it's very noisy and is right next to his ears.Considering my dog needs absolute rest on his leg whilst it heals, his reaction to the velcro was not conducive in aiding this as he abruptly and vigorously moved and pulled away.I found that putting my hand on his head, slightly covering his ears, whilst slowly peeling the velcro apart, helped to reduce his reaction...as well as lots of treats!!The collar folds back for easy access to his water bowl and better line of sight for him when up and about, however I had to remove the collar whilst he ate as it got in the way.Overall I would recommend.

This cone fitted very securely onto our medium/small spaniel, of course she hated it but it stayed on without tying it onto her collar; I did actually take her collar off while she wore this, as both together seemed a bit too much but she isn't a big dog. So I would certainly use this again if I need to, as after use it still looks like new.

This size fits a GSD, it's slightly padded and my dog seems to find it more comfortable generally. It does fold down making eating easier and less messy. It's not quite as wide as the vet supplied plastic cone but this has not been a problem so far. Recommended.

Not as soft and flexible as I would like but stops my Frenchie scratching his ears at night time. Does the job

My dog had to have stitches in his ear. He hated his plastic cone so got him this. It’s slightly padded which meant he was happy lying down and sleeping with it on. The extra bonus is it folds back so he could eat his food and drink without having it taken off. He almost looked as though he missed it when he didn’t need it any more!

I bought this to stop my dog from biting her rear end. Due to it being bendy she was able to bend the material and still get at her back. Not effective at all.

A bit big for me Yorkshire terrier cross but folded it back so that helped. More comfortable than the vet ones.
