I don't generally leave reviews, but the seller and their customer service deserve recognition. I purchased this knife set and block as a gift. After over a year of careful use, I noticed a small crack developing in the handle material, and reached out to the seller to see about a replacement for that one knife (note, it was quite some time beyond when I'd purchased, and well out of any return window). Upon closer inspection I noticed several knives had developed this issue, and in working with customer service to determine the issue, it was a result of users allowing the knives to slide back unsupported into the block. We'd babied these knives, hand-washing and treating with the utmost respect, but apparently not when the knives were returned to the block, which resulted in small cracks in the handle material at the base developing over time. Again, being I was well beyond any return window, customer service could have been like "too bad," but what did they do?? They offered my choice to refund in full or provide a replacement knife set. And not only that, when I asked if there was another storage solution available, they also offered to send me the magnetic block alternative from another set. I've since received the new knives and they are perfect, and the magnetic block on the counter allows for easy access and, most importantly, a gentler handling solution to keep these very sharp, beautiful knives pristine for many years to come. I've ordered from Amazon for a long time, and never have I encountered a seller who went that far out of their way to make sure I was a happy customer. If you are willing to take very special care of these knives they will last for a very long time, and if you are on the fence about buying these from Amazon, I strongly recommend you consider this seller, because they were stellar.

Excellent weight and feel. Super sharp and comes with a great, double sided magnetic holder which you can place other knives as well on. These seem as good or even better than the knives I purchased in Tokyo while on my vacation for less than half the price. I can recommend these knives highly!!

Knives are sharp and good quality. However, the shears/scissors keep breaking and I’ve only had it for about a month. The little circular piece on the shears just fell off and won’t stay on, then the scissors come apart easily.

I was looking for a quality knife set, the ones I was finding in the stores just weren’t cutting it. After a lot of research I decided to take gamble on these and I’m pleased with my choice. They are durable and I feel these will last a long time. The price was fair, and they look of superior quality. Easy to use and makes cooking fun.

I’ve had this knife set for about four months, and overall, it’s been a disappointing experience. Right out of the box, one of the slots in the knife block was unusable due to a wood obstruction. The knives performed well for the first month or two, but they dulled quickly, even with regular sharpening.A bigger issue is the quality of the handles—several have started to break apart, causing splinters while cutting. Despite hand-washing them immediately after use and never putting them in the dishwasher, I’ve also noticed signs of rust.For the price, I expected much better durability and craftsmanship. I wouldn’t recommend this set.This keeps it professional and to the point while making sure your concerns come across clearly. Let me know if you want any tweaks!

This knife set is absolutely stellar. Very high quality. Knife handles are substantial in your hand making it easy to control the blades. The magnetic blade holder is beautiful. I absolutely recommend this item as a good buy.
