My baby girl had surgery and the plastic cone was not working for her. She hated it. Couldn’t eat, couldn’t sleep. I got this one hoping it was softer and long enough to prevent her from licking her stitches. This thing got the job done. It’s also easier to put on. If your fur baby needs a cone, I recommend.

This soft cone is very handy for if your dog gets an injury or a surgery. My husky was recently spayed and she enjoyed this cone much more than the hard cone she was given. She slept well with it on and was still able to move around like normal. The only thing is I found the adjustability less than perfect. Overall a good cone and made my husky's spay recovery a lot better.

XS was perfect for a petite goldendoodle. Much softer and comfortable then the ones given by the vet. You can always switch between the 2 and use the soft one when you are supervising your dog so that way if they do find a way to take it off you will be there to correct it.

This made my pup so much happier post-surgery. He did not want to wear the giant clear one they gave him; he would literally stand there and stare at you, refusing to move. When we popped this one on he was so much happier to get up and move around with it. He and I loved that you could fold it down, and he could eat, drink, and sniff around on walks. I love the little snaps that make it simple to just snap it onto his collar. He ended up using it as a pillow at times. He got compliments on his budgie cone. As for the not-so-great, he is super smart and watches and learns, so after he was feeling better and wanted to lick bad, he figured out that if he rolled and maneuvered his head in the right direction, he could fold the thing all the way down and get to his paw. We ended having to use the vet cone for the last few days. Though I do not regret ordering this since it helped so much for him in the first few weeks.

This recovery cone is well made and made from easy to clean fabric, but it has limitations. First there are only three size options using the snaps. They secure well, but there is limited flexibility to get a really good it. You can improve the fit using the collar loops, but i have a cat who needs to wear a recovery cone 24/7 or he rips his face and neck. This cone is also made from fabric that is slick, which is nice in that it’s easy to clean, but it doesn’t breathe well. Overall the limitations outweigh the benefits with this cone.

I ordered this cone, along with several others, before my dog had cataract surgery. This ended up being one of his favorites. It has a lot of thoughtful features. The multiple snaps so adjust neck and cone size are sturdy. The straps with snaps to attach to a collar have two snaps to accommodate both thin and thicker collars. There are snaps midway up the cone so that you can fold it back and secure it during meal times. This is a great option if you don't need a super-rigid cone - one of only two drawbacks, but also what helps make it more comfortable. The second con is a lack of visibility for the dog, but also, again what makes it comfy. This was my dog's preferred cone for sleeping at night. I washed and dried this multiple times during my dogs recovery and it held up great. I think the snaps really were my favorite part of this because there was no velcro to pick up shedded fur and lint. If your dog can use a softer cone during recovery, this is the one to get.

The fit was awkward on my shihtzu. I returned it since the product had clearly been used with white cat/dog hair all over it.
