I'm also studying A200 with the OU and this book is a superb guide to the economics of the slave trade which also provides critiques of historians on the subject. Very accessible. Highly recommended.

I am doing A200 with the OU and this was fantastic to read alongside the Block on Slavery and Freedom. Morgan sets out his arguments well and prepares the information so it is easily understandable. A brilliant book written plainly so that even I could understand it!
