Q: Do these taste like chocolate covered marzipan, or is there some additional ingredient, and if so, what is it? Please describe the flavor.

I fell in love with this delightful confection when I was in Salzburg, Austria in 1984! It was years and years before I was fortunate to have it again! These "Mozart balls" (as my friends and I called them) are wonderful little treats with the layered flavors of pistachio and almond marzipan covered in dark chocolate (red wrappers) or milk chocolate (blue wrappers). Dark chocolate is my favorite! These are nothing like a sick, overly sweet American candy bar! Mozart Kugeln is a refined sweet, smooth and deliciously unique German chocolate treat that you will keep returning to for years to come! Yum!

Full milk chocolate, nougat and marzipan..the chocolate is just covering on the outside. Now, the listing says 50 pieces and that is correct. In the bullet points it says 20 and that is incorrect. You do get 50 units. Thank you!

Don’t know about the ingredient list but I would highly suggest NOT getting this product - they came totally smashed and much of it was a melted mess.

The expiration date is stamped on the plastic box (European style D/M/Y )
