Professional look
Best window privacy kit period!! High quality, great price, applies professionally and comes with spray bottle and small utility knife. Spray plenty of dish soap and water mixture on clean glass before applying. I applied the privacy film in the middle of winter and had no issues. Any reviews complaining are user errors. Highly recommend!!

Great privacy film — bonus use for Halloween projections
I originally bought this frosted glass privacy film as an inexpensive alternative to window projection material for Halloween, and it worked great. The projection came through clearly, and the film was easy to apply and remove air bubbles from. I also tested removing and repositioning it, and it came off perfectly with no residue left behind. After Halloween, we liked it so much that we decided to leave it up on a closet window. It provides excellent privacy while still letting in plenty of light, and I can open the window normally to let fresh air in with no issues. For the price, this is a very versatile product. If you’re planning a projection project and don’t want to invest in specialty materials, this is definitely worth considering. It also works perfectly for everyday privacy once the decorations come down.

Review on plain opaque film, directions, and privacy.
I used it for a back door window and it was reasonably easy to apply. Directions say you can't use enough (soapy) water, but I say you can. Lol. The good thing about adding a little excess water is you can slide the film around to get it where you want it. Directions also state to mix "1 quart of water and 1/4 mild dish soap or no-tears baby shampoo." I didn't know if that meant that 1/4 of the mix should be soap, 1/4 cup or what, so I added approx. 1/4 cup baby shampoo because 1/4 quarter of 1 qt of soap would have been the whole bottle of baby wash. It worked out well. I had to cut the excess on the window with the razor provided and that side is jagged, but it's so close to the edge of the window it's not very noticeable. It does provide pretty decent privacy, so I will be using a curtain in front of it for night time when the indoor lights will be on and it would be easy to see a person on the inside of the house. However, it will be good for day time to let light in. Not bad at all for the price. The only deficits are the instructions are a little screwy in a couple of places and that when I cut one side while the film was on the window that whole side is jagged. It said to have extra, which I did. I should have not had extra and measured perfectly prior to hanging it. But you might find perhaps a better razor will work for you and to actually hang it with the extra film it suggests, then cutting the excess.

Comes with necessary tools!
Worked great as a background on an aquarium. Film looks good and what's crazy is that they provide you with all the tools necessary to apply the film! Comes with a little spray bottle, plastic squeechie, and a box cutter for trimming!

Quality & Easy to Install
I use it in my bathroom. Is it 100% private (especially at night)? No. But pair this with a cute linen curtain like I did and you have light and privacy no matter the time. And quality that hasn't failed me yet. Super easy to install, too. I will note their "razor" to cut with doesn't work but scissors do just fine.

Absolute perfection
I don't generally write reviews this quickly (or at all), but this product is *exactly* what I needed. Photo 1: difference of with/without Photo 2: both panes done Photo 3: same as 2 but adjusted camera to show that it still lets a lot of light into the room Buy it! I had to size up and get the $30 roll for the two window panes. I have some left, but mother enough for a full window. I would say that is the only downside is the sizing vs price. My bedroom window faces another bedroom window in my complex. The problem is, my room is SO dark in the morning when my blinds are closed (they're not even blackout curtains) that it's near impossible to wake up - so I like to keep them open...which is another problem as soon as the sun sets. For starters, it's cling film, so it's renter friendly! Next, it has all the tools needed to install, and grid lines to help you cut. Install took maybe 30 minutes total for both window panes. Repeating what a lot of other commenters said: use lots of water!! Or windex (which is what I used). I also used a 7x12" quilters ruler to square the sides for trimming when it was on the window, which was super helpful to get a close to the edge cut. I would suggest at least a ruler. I only chose to cover the bottom two panes which works really well for me. The other nice thing about this film is that it acts as a light diffuser, so when the sunlight reflects off my neighbors window and into mine, it's no longer bright as all get out. Overall, super happy with it. It's super easy to install, just take your time! If things change, I will come back and edit.

Worked perfectly
Very easy to apply, clings very well without bubbles, stays on, and does what it's intended to do. Price is reasonable but definitely not the same as the very cheap ones that do not work. So happy with my purchase.
