It's heavy
Writing a review for a weight makes me think of the "Log" song from Ren and Stimpy; "it's big it's heavy, it's wood" only it's not wood, it's cast iron. Sorry, it's probably only funny to me.More seriously, it's well-made, finished nicely, and it fits in my pack with my other ruck plate. What more could a rucker ask for? Oh yeah, the price was right. If I wanted carry more weight, I'd buy another one of these.

This is a perfect plate for my intention of rucking. It fits well in a GR1.

Buy two - save money!!
I bought two 10 lb plates and they fit perfectly in my Ruck Plate Carrier 2.0 (from the name brand). Each cost $30, so it was a pretty significant savings from buying the single 20 lb plate meant to fit in the carrier. Because the carrier is only meant for a plate, stacking two in there is still tight and no issues.

Weight vest
Am using this as part of a weight vest and it fits perfectly in the tac vest I bought. If you want a weight vest that is not a bulky mess - go with this and a tac vest.

Durable for my rucksack, I folded clothes to stuff my rucksack with and put this plate on top. I piled a sandbag on top. The plate stayed in place and didnt move around. The 10lb plate measured out to 9.7 pounds, nothing I couldnt correct with a Tshirt or literally the addition of my camelbak.

Dense and compact
little but great weight. Its perfect for throwing in a bag and going for a walk or hike. not big or clunky which is very convenient. arrived quick!

Looks like this will also be great for abdominal work (Russian Twists, crunches, halos). The hand grips and size are perfect for those. And it’ll be great for rucking of course.

Adds UMPH to your hikes!
These plates can turn a good hike into a GREAT hike! Even 10 lbs extra adds a nice challenge when hiking with a less aggressive crew. I’ve been using this to train for more intense trips and the upcoming ski season and I can feel the difference. Really awesome for any people who don’t want to be stuck in a gym but also want to get a good leg day and core workout in.Could I do the same thing with a stack of books? Sure - but the compactness of this weight makes things a lot easier. Image shows 10 lb weight next to a 621 ml Hydro Flask.
