Life changing! No more $$$$ facials this is the key!
I asked one of my friends who has beautiful skin what products she uses, and she said she didn't use products; instead, she used the money towards getting a facial with a lactic acid peel once a month. After that, it was whatever drugstore wash and moisturizing sunscreen and a hat. These facials can cost around $200 where I live. I tried salon facials and added on the lactic acid option. The results were terrific, but having facials monthly was out of my budget. Then I discovered Skin Obsession. It is so inexpensive for what you receive. This is salon strength. I started with the lactic acid and made my way up to 85%. Then, I read up on glycolic acid and switched back and forth between the two. Whenever I get dry patches or my skin looks dull, I realize I forgot to do a peel. I cannot wait to use this new combo. Now I can get all the acids. My skin is tough. I don't burn much or get red. It is not a peel like a laser peel. I never get skin peeling from this, and nor did I after peels at the salon. Glycolic and lactic acid are like a "lunchtime peel." I instantly get glowing skin that holds hydration better and gets rid of hyperpigmentation and those annoying black dots on my nose. The instructions say to use a cotton pad. A cotton pad absorbs too much of the liquid and is a waste, in my opinion. I purchased a wand brush, which is the kind they use in facials. I pour a little into a mise en place bowl and dip my brush into it. This keeps the product from getting tainted, and it stretches the product so my bottle lasts a long time. Other than that, I follow the instructions. When my skin doesn't seem to respond to my products, I do a peel, and instantly, my skin absorbs and reacts to other facial products better. I have been using Skin Obsession since the 2000s. I no longer get facials, pimples, or extractions. If you have sensitive skin, this might burn more, but I have thick skin and can do it even while using Retin A at night. That is a lot of exfoliation! Despite that, for me the peel doesn't burn much, get red, or shed large patches of skin. I wash my face with a washcloth, so maybe I don't notice the peeling because it is in the washcloth. Skin Obsession is amazing, even life-changing for me. I would say this is a must-have product for me. I have 20 years of using Skin Obsessions' lactic and glycolic peels, and my skin looks fantastic, and not just "for my age." Read up on the products and pick what is best for you, then progress upward. Wear sunscreen and a hat or visor. Do not forget your neck and collarbone area when using. PS: The company is woman-owned.

Awesome Product!
I was shopping around for a light, less scary, chemical peel than the professional ones. This was exactly what I needed! I was sill nervous when it arrived and did my first treatment but I am VERY pleased with the results. The 2 little bottles re all you need (plus household baking soda) and that is literally IT. Not cream, no after care regimen, nothing. It is light enough to not do a huge nighttime lotion repair regimen that some offer, yet, it is strong enough to really peel the first thin layers of skin. I was not laid up in bed for days, jut dry patches that flaked off. I did start using thin cotton rounds instead of cotton balls though. The cotton balls seemed to absorb more than putting the product on my face. It is a tad painful... ouch. But within 10 minutes I was completely fine, NO after effects. Rinsing hurt worse than applying - just to give you a heads up. I believe the instructions say first step 3 minutes 2nd step 5, and I always do 1st step 2 minutes 2nd step 2 minutes. Maybe I'll progress but that's all that I can handle for right now. I personally recommend NOT moisturizing for a couple days. My second peel took forever because I kept moisturizing and it ended up being 4 or 5 days of peeling... ugh. I am on peel 4 and I want to do maybe 8. I have pale skin with black heads in problem areas and a few pinkish red scars from past bad pimple. The first peel took the pinkish red scars right off! I was so happy. After a week or so I could see them again but VERY light and no where near as bright and big as they were. My make-up went on smoother after my first peel, and I started getting less black heads! Follow the directions, do what it comfortable, and you should get great results!

I AM OBSESSED
Skin obsession products and chemical peels are as close as you can get to a professional chemical peel. Step one with salicylic is EXCELLENT for oily skin and acne and can be used alone without step 2 for spot treating breakouts in between the full blown chemical peel . I use a Q tip, cotton balls or squares absorb way to much product if your not carefull ,but then I often go over my neck ,chest arms when I use cotton squares. Never redip Qtips in your bottle . I've been using these products for years and nothing compares to these as far as quality and cost ,with EXCELLENT results. For sensitive areas around the nose and mouth I leave on less time and dab with cool cloth . About 3 or 4 days after peel or when my skin looks really flaky is when I use microderm crystals to help remove dry skin . I use it alone or in my cleanser ,just do it gently because your skin is still sensitive . The crystals are EXCELLENT to use inbetween your peel ,keeps skin super smooth . The microderm crystals are super fine high quality crystals and a tiny bit goes along way. I will use SKIN OBSESSION products for the rest of my life ,to me they are the BEST you can get with the same results as a professional, besides saving you thousands leaving you with extra cash to go shopping and looking good at the same time...what more can you ask for ? I'm obsessed and that is a fact .

Very Surprised & Satisfied
Ok so I'm an Esthetician and this was my first chemical peel ever. I am mixed and I have SUPER oily skin. I am 25 years old. My skin is so oily that it can saturate two Oil Absorbing Sheets no problem at the middle of the day and at the end. There were reports of people having their skin flake off and stuff. The only places I had skin flake off were on the driest parts of my face. The corners of the chin, upper lip, and the bridge of the nose. That's it! I will probably avoid these areas tonight when I do the peel again. Also, as far as the pain goes with this peel, I was able to withstand the whole time limit and even surpass the time. Maybe I just have a higher tolerance for pain than others. After a couple of days my skin was so much smoother and it made me want to run my hand over it a lot. That's how smooth it was. I could tell also that my skin was brighter. I have very acneic skin. I have had skin problems since I was 13. I have a problem with the tiny comedones (small bumps) everywhere on my face but especially on the outer cheeks and forehead. This was kind of emotional because for the longest time I haven't been happy with my skin. But I believe if I continue to use this peel that I can have normal looking skin. After using the peel I could tell that my skin maintained the radiance that my skin normally has and I think the radiance actually increased after using the peel. Today is day 8 after using the peel. I have some new breakouts of small bumps on my forehead but nothing drastic. My skin is in better condition now. I do have small red scars on my cheeks for past bad breakouts. I also have some hyperpigmentation from acne as well. These scars are looking better and I have only done one peel! Just imagine how my skin will look say after 10 peels or so! When I was just a teenager I used Tazorac cream, Retin-A, took Tetracycline orally, used Differin gel, Proactiv.. none of it really worked. This works for me. I used to wash my face with a face wash called Sal Ac. I think they disconitinued it or something. Anyways, now that I'm older my skin has mellowed out a little but when I break out it's not pretty so I am so happy that I found this. Long Live Beauty & Health, Whitney

TCA IS 1000 TIMES BETTER. THIS PEEL DOES NOTHING!!!!!
Did nothing for my skin what so ever!!! Very disappointed!!! How ever I have bought other peels from this brand that works magic. A THE TCA 25% PEEL WORKS WONDERS!!! WHEN I TIRED THIS PEEL I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED. IT MADE ME PEEL BUT DID NOTHING FOR ACNE OR OILINESS. Personally I would recommend the tca peel at 15% before this peel. This peel is not worth the money and does nothing!!!

it was ok...
This was the first chemical peel I've ever used so I was a little scared about the side effects. First time I used the product there was some slight burning but after that initial use the burning lessened. Minor peeling occured which I expected but I am looking for a deeper peel due to severe scarring and very oily skin. Great product for minor scarring or if you just want a light peel.

Why didn't I buy this sooner?
I had virtually flawless skin until I stopped taking birth control two years ago. (I am 28.) Since then I've been getting terrible cystic acne on my back-- preventing me from wearing backless shirts and dresses. I have been so self conscious about the skin on my back--I can only imagine the psychological damage people with acne on their faces go through. Not to mention, the pain and scaring. I tried every expensive over-the-counter, beauty store product out there and probably wasted $1000 in the past two years trying to find something that worked to stop my bacne. Nothing did. I was just about to get an expensive peel at the dermatologist before I came across this product. I have used this product on my back only twice and the difference is already huge. It has completely stopped new zits from forming, shrunk existing zits, and lightened my existing scars more quickly than I could have imagined. I think continuing this treatment once per week for several weeks will make my skin clear enough to enjoy summer clothes this year! (With sunscreen of course.) Such a relief. Also, my peeling and redness have not been so bad that I would have had to hide if it were on my face--though back skin may be less sensitive? I have been using Salcylic acid body wash and moisturizer each day and this seems to be exfoliating my skin as it peels. If you are suffering from embarrassing acne, this is a must!It actually works! Just make sure you follow the directions because this stuff is high-octane. Also note that if you have deep acne like mine, some of the infections are still under your skin from past zits, so this treatment will bring them to the surface. However, I haven't found this to be painful or scar-inducing...it is like your skin is purging itself of the infections. I will probably buy the Jessner's peel after I use this a few more times to try to get even more dramatic results.
