A few months ago, I found my hair was getting really thin, especially around the top and sides of my forehead. Always had really thin hair, so I started to freak out because I don’t really have any room for it to get thinner. At first, I started looking at silk pillowcases, but for some reason I just didn’t want to commit. I came across this and decided it was the right thing to try.It is so soft and silky! I put it on before bed and tuck the back of my hair up in it. I tie the ties tight enough, so that it doesn’t slip off, but isn’t uncomfortable, and only very occasionally do I wake up without it on my head.The first thing I noticed after starting to use this was how soft my hair was in the morning. I have straight shoulder length hair, and I normally wake up with it sticking in a few different directions, and not feeling soft until I brush it out. I also normally wake up with at least a few hairs that have fallen out and are stuck to my pillow. This has made me wake up with much softer hair, and although sometimes it is still sticking in a funny direction, it isn’t anything compared to what I used to experience. I also don’t find any hairs that get left behind of me, think that this is helping reduce some of the hair that I used to lose in the night. It’s also a little hard to tell, but I do feel pretty confident saying that I’m not getting as much breakage on the hair around my face as I used to get (I’m a side sleeper, and I think that is the biggest contributor.Overall, I love this, and if you’re considering, just buy it!

I was really looking forward to this head wrap, it was one of the few that were actually silk and was affordable. I put it on and tried to adjust using the ruched strings… I had to wear it at the smallest stretch possible. No matter how tight u adjust the flimsy parts it does not stay on . It slipped off constantly.

I bought 7 different styles of hair bonnet, including 4 silk ones. My hair is medium length and thick (read: heavy) and I'm probably a little more sensitive about elastic around my head than the average person. I also toss and turn like it's my full-time job. This bonnet is one of 2 that I kept. It's double sided silk, so your hair is touching a smooth surface and the outside layer ensures your head will glide across your pillow cases. So together, there's little friction to destroy your hair or to pull the bonnet off. The elastic at the back is about 6" long (it didn't go past my ears) and there's a draw string for a little more of a custom fit. I've worn it with the ties in back and was never bothered by the knots or strings. I turn it so the ties are at the top mainly because the way it's sewn, my hair has more room to flop if it's "upside down". I hope they make one a little larger as I am growing my hair out. I bought a three pack of scrunchies too. Putting my hair loosely on top before donning the bonnet does help with the flop situation. The quality of the silk for both products is excellent, the stitch work is great. Really the more I say about it, the less I want you to buy one ("more for me" vibes).

I have short hair and it would probably classify as 1a for reference.The material feels like silk and seems to work well with my hair.My hair does fall out of it due to the design of the bonnet itself though and that prevents me from being able to gauge the use of the bonnet itself.

Why is there a tie when it doesn’t let you adjust to fit your head? Tie is for looks only. It doesn’t serve anything! I thought I could tighten it to fit my head and it didn’t do anything! Too large. Fell off. They need to make this adjustable.

I would be surprised if this is 100% real silk, but regardless of that, the product is not actually adjustable and is not fitted enough to stay in place while sleeping, or moving at all.

I love this so much I just bought a second one and have recommended to two of my hair stylists. I’m losing so much LESS hair now that I’ve begun wearing this at night. It’s been 2 months and I’m shedding far less. I bought another brand to try out and went back to this one. I love that this is adjustable at the back. Real silk. Easy to hand wash. I only wish they’d release new prints and colors.

i’ve tried almost every kind of silk bonnet for sleeping and this is by FAR the best one. it’s fully adjustable to your head shape/size, unlike most other ones i’ve seen on amazon (or anywhere for that matter). most of them just slip off because they’re one size fits all, with no string to tighten and adjust. and the ones that do have an option to tighten your hair look ridiculous (like a beanie). I was actually shocked at how silky my hair was in the morning after sleeping with this bonnet. somehow my hair looks better after waking up than it does before I go to bed. it’s also extremely comfortable to wear to sleep and I like that it keeps my hair out of my face. it’s great at preserving hairstyles overnight (curls - natural or with a curling iron, blow outs, etc.), just maintaining silky hair in general. such a great product for both short term and long term hair health/benefits. literally recommend this to anyone that will listen to me. it is on the pricier end compared to some of the other options on amazon, but i’ve found that the others ones are just a total waste of money. I’d rather shell out 10-15 extra dollars for a product that actually works.

I like to use this satin silk product. They are a bit big for my head but the tie at the back helps secure it!

Las cintas que trae para amarrar hace que ajuste bien a mi cabeza, pero al no tener el elástico que le dé como agarre, termina por deslizarse y no sirve de nada. De verdad es una lástima, pero no está muy económico como para quedárselo en estas condiciones.

Amazing!! Soft, good fit, easy to use. I sleep with mine every night and I have seen a significant improvement in the health of my hair. My hair used to get greasy very quickly, but I can go more days in between washes. My hair is shiny, smooth and healthier. I no longer have to style my hair as I wake up to beautiful hair.

This is a lovely cap, nice quality. The only thing I don't like is the elastic is loose fitting. I wish it was adjustable. I put my own stitch in to tighten it up.

Not sure if I this was made for gigantic heads or people with a lot of thick hair, but it's big. You can tighten it, however it never stays tighten, it will loosen and move throughout the night. This has actually woken me up in the middle of the night so that I had to straighten it and place it back properly on my head. Not for me. If you have an abnormally large head or a ton of hair then I suppose the size will suit you fine. This is a waste of money for me and I will just buy a silk pillow case instead.
