Taras Gourmet Sea Salt Caramels | All Natural Candy | Creamy & Individually Wrapped with Real Butter (20 oz)

I'm 60 and have eaten caramels my whole life. These are hands down, without exception the best caramels I've ever had. Here's why. First, the creamy smooth softness is amazing. It literally melts in your mouth. Second, the butter flavor REALLY stands out which IMO is key to perfect caramel. Lastly, throwing in a hint of sea salt is the icing on the cake. I've now bought 4 of these, including gifts. Everyone loves them. My only suggestion....and a tiny tick more of sea salt. Some bites I get little to no taste of sea salt. BUT, do in with caution. Too much and it ruins the Carmel. But great job. You've got a patron for a long time. UPDATE 7/21/25: be very careful ordering these in the summer. They're not shipped with any kind of insulation so if you live in the South, they'll be melted in the summer. The last 2 I ordered arrived melted and I've had to peel pieces of caramel off the wrapper. They're still good, but disappointed they can't ship to hot zones with some kind of protection. I won't be buying any more for several months.

This was everything the 5 star have said and more . We don't like sickening sweet caramel and this is not it Perfect balance of sweetness and salt. Perfect little pieces of heaven indeed

Individually wrapped very buttery fresh tasting caramels. Would 100% buy again.

I was initially hesitant to purchase these caramels after reading reviews about people receiving the product melted or the container half full and other complaints. Normally I order Kraft caramels but for $9.99 I decided to take the plunge and buy 2 containers. I’m glad I did! Both of them arrived full to the top with caramels and none of them were melted or had any problems of any kind. I just popped one into my mouth and I’m writing this review while eating it. I love that they use real wax paper and a simple twist to seal method so all you have to do is untwist both ends and enjoy! If you’ve ever had a butterscotch hard candy it tastes kind of like that but it’s soft and chewy with just a pinch of salt. I can tell that these are homemade for sure. The reason is because I can taste individual ingredients like butter & brown sugar & even a tiny bit of molasses from the brown sugar used to make these caramels whereas with processed foods distinguishing individual ingredients while eating it can be tough due to being processed and refined to conformity. The sea salt is wonderful! It’s a perfect treat for when you’re craving something sweet & salty. I wouldn’t say there’s too much sea salt but because it is salt when you get that large grain of sea salt and crush it between your teeth you definitely get that blast of salt. taste. I try to just swallow the salt as a grain of salt rather than trying to crush with my teeth to prevent getting too much salt taste. I would definitely order these again IF the price remains at $9.99. I highly recommend that anyone who likes caramel/butterscotch give these a try. Don’t be afraid of all the bad reviews. No one is perfect and sometimes the fault is on Amazon’s side. For example the people who got melted ones probably ordered in Summer and then Amazon left them in a hot warehouse and then a hot delivery truck. Anyway I’ve typed too much so just buy these and your sweet tooth will thank you for it. ;)

Is this treat a sin? One would think after melting one of these creamy, soft, sweet and salty delicacies in your mouth! I keep this container in the back of my fridge, only having one of two on occasion. Delicious with a piece of dark chocolate. Certainly a bon marche. I love'm.

Tara’s caramels is a favorite of mine. They make a great gift for just about anyone you want a gift for. And, who doesn’t like to get candy!!! I keep an extra container for gift giving. And. I will keep buying these. I give them ten stars!!!
