You’ll need 2- AAA batteries. No programming needed just load in the batteries and it’s ready to use. I love the lighted background. And most of all it’s much cheaper than a replacement Apple TV remote.

Great for my senior mom. Love the lit buttons, and no overly sensitive touchscreen issues. My only gripe is that the very bottom left and right buttons don’t work on both remotes. That would not have stopped me from purchasing as the others all do what they say. Works on both 4K and older models.I would urge them to make an even larger remote for seniors, as us GenX kids are moving our parents from cable to streaming.

This experience demonstrates that the quality of a product often reflects its price. Low price = low quality. I purchased these remotes as an additional means of controlling the television from a different location within the room. However, my experience has been consistently disappointing. Unless one is directly positioned near the television, these remotes are ineffective. Despite replacing the batteries, I continue to encounter issues with their limited range of functionality.

Weird predicament for me... my niece's school sells their end of life equipment to residents and non-residents when the school year is up. Their EOL cycle is 3 years, so I was able to score a 2021 4K Apple TV for $10. Problem was it had no power cord (no biggie, I have dozens) and no remote (minor problem).This universal remote worked flawlessly with every single Apple TV I purchased. No lag and the backlit buttons are a nice feature. It does feel a little cheap, but each remote cost about $6 and they do exactly what I needed them to do.

This a great cheap alternative to the real Apple Remote. It isWell worth the price

The media could not be loaded. These have great tactile feel and connect to Apple TV seamlessly. I thought I was buying one, but there are two per pack! Great deal. Also, the lights are bright for night time watching. I’ve been through several Apple TV replacements, this the the one. Very highly recommended.
