Does the job nicely
Quick and easy job to replace the handle, no special tools required just a screwdriver and some pliers. Not too fiddly or complex, so I guess anyone else could do this.How to replace a handle in less than 5 minutes!Remove 5 screws from the inside of the washing machine door. Gently pry the faceplate off the door to reveal the handle that needs to be replaced. With a set of pliers, remove the metal pin to remove the handle.You will need to remove the spring from the old handle and attach it to the new. Otherwise it is just the reverse of the disassembly process, to reassemble the door.I'm not sure if it's a genuine or third party replacement part and I don't really care. It works and for the sake of £10 and 5 minutes work, I probably saved a fortune. I would hate to think how much it would cost for a repair engineer to do this and I wouldn't want to replace the whole machine for a fault with 1 part.
