Vertical Shoulder Holster for 4" Barrel Revolver in 38 & 357 fits S&W, Ruger,Taurus Most Others

Once you figure out how to wear it and make necessary adjustments, it works rather well and is nice. It is very adjustable to accommodate for many body frame sizes. Holsters my revolver with 4 inch barrel well. Attaching the belt loop around your belt or the belt loop on your pants is a must if you want to be able to draw. Without the loop, you'll need 2 hands to unholster, otherwise the holster will come up with the gun. Revolver sits decently vertical for me, although I did not try it loaded yet. My only issue is where the height vertical adjustment clips are located (the ones that raise or lower the holster itself under your arm. The inner adjustable clip sits right in the way of the holster opening and gets in the way of both holstering and unholstering to some extent. You still need 2 hands to holster- one to push the adjustment clip out of the way a bit. If you use the belt loop, you should be able to draw with your single, opposite hand.I gave this holster 5 stars because of the overall cost-to-value ratio (nylon webbed material). I need to mess with it a little more to get the most out of it. I bought this so I can carry my gun with me comfortably for self defense. I did not buy this holster to be quick draw mcgraw so I'm not that picky. Im not sure this is the holster for you if that is what you are looking for. I'm very happy with this purchase and look forward to using it more.

Really an excellent addition to your detective costume, the fit is well thought out and will fit easily under your Sonny Crockett jacket no matter what your size. Seems reasonably durable, and will double as a belt holster as it has belt loops on both sides. Made in USA is a bonus, and at a reasonable price. Look no further for your costume party needs.

Fully functional. Fairly comfortable. Not "nice". Excellent value. Trial: I'm 6'2", 205#, XLT in the jacket size. Gun is Taurus Tracker 44. Carry is under all conditions except sleeptime and work. Purchased for canoeing and hunting backup.Pros: THE PRICE IS EXCELLENT. It fits the Taurus nicely. It's a little large on the Ruger Security six, but I would still use it, if I ever carry it again. It fits well on me with LOTS of room to go larger or smaller in every adjustment. This holster will fit almost anyone. It holds the Taurus securely, is comfortable enough that I wear it all weekend, and it disgorges and conceals well. Thats enough for 4 stars, but not 4.5.Cons: Description says "There is no irritating velcro or elastic used". It was the elastic strap around the right shoulder which made my old, lamented, Bianchi X15 so comfortable. The cheap stiff 1" nylon strap on this holster has taken a lot of getting used to, and I still don't like it.The bucket is flimsy. It takes two hands to put the weapon in the holster. It won't stay open. However, I find the sheerness of the bucket material is irrelevant, unless you are a cop needing a one-handed return to holster.The thumb break was very very hard to fasten and unfasten for the first few days. It got better.Conclusion: excellent value. This would have been a "5" if I was a wife gushing about my husband's yet-unopened birthday gift or a moron describing the awesome delivery speed, or the terrific packaging.This holster would certainly have got a "4.5" with a comfortable back strap, or if the thumb break had behaved well. It would be a five with both, for sure.

I own a 38 with a 4 inch barrel, the gun fits good and doesn't fall out but it's not very comfortable. For the price it's okay though but there are definitely better options

It is comfortable and easy to use

Delivery was fast. The straps were extra long which was good and adjustable so that by lessening the length on the back side of the holster and lengthening the front side the holster could be slightly canted. The bottom strap attaches to the belt which makes a one hand draw easy. After shortening the length of the strap which goes around the right arm and cutting it off I merely melted the cut end so it wouldn't fray. The fully adjustable style is nice and the 7 shot 4 inch barrel 357 Taurus fits well and is comfortable. Like anything else, you just have to take your time adjusting it right. It actually feels more comfortable than my higher priced on for my Smith And Wesson 44 magnum. It was well worth the price.

686 3" barrel fit good

I don't even know where to start..There's nothing good to be said about this item.I didn't expect perfection, with the low price, but I figured it would suffice until I found something better.It is terribly made, and uncomfortable. There's no amount of adjusting it to remedy that. It pulls brutally into my armpit, nothing lays flat as pictured, and is excruciating.Even worse..the stupid main clip cannot be moved, and completely prohibits being able to get your gun in or out of the holster. It's as if the maker/seller has never seen a gun holster before and never tested these before manufacturing them.Possibly the worst purchase I've ever made on Amazon, and a waste of my time.Returning immediately.Do not buy this garbage. Trust me.
