The low volume cymbals in conjunction with mesh drum heads allow me to practice without disturbing the neighbors.

A little shrill to the ears, but it’s not like it’s a huge name brand with two or three generations of craftsmen’s knowledge that made the cymbal.It’s a solid, entry level cymbal that is effective in providing what you need when you need it affordably and effectively! I’m going to make use of it after I file down the sharp and rough edges to make some alternative sound textures when playing my hand drums. Fun!

So I read reviews on most of the low volume cymbals available on Amazon. I could have gotten cheaper cymbals, but I bought these because it included the China. The sound quality of these are not great, but I didn't get them to record or play live shows with. These are so we can have band practice at lower volume, and it delivers. The crashes and ride sound the best out of the set, the hi hats sound weird alone but in the mix they are ok. The China was severely disappointing, it's really unusable like many others have said on other sets... It only represents a China in form, not sound lol. The splash is fine, but I don't use it. These are made from stainless steel so they're very durable. It comes with a cymbal bag, a pair of 5A sticks, and moon gels for the cymbals. It saves our ears at practice, it's affordable, and it saves the Meinls for shows, so it's a win, I'd buy it again... But maybe without the China?

I like the sound of this when used with a larger splash cymbal. The photo shows it with an optional cymbal strap. It's lower volume than a larger cymbal, but it can be used as a real instrument, beyond just a practice item, and the price is fair.

Interestingly this is a nice small quieter cymbal with a very beautiful long sustain. The tone is a good metal steel sound as it should be and the ringing quality is very good. Hitting the cymbal in various sections does have different tone production. Excellent for a set and practicing. Love it.

This cymbal is actually pretty nice sounding considering what it is and it's price range. This is perfect for practice and keeping the peace with neighbors. Add these with mesh drum heads and you can practice all night long.
