I used this for the first time today, on an extremely sunny and somewhat windy beach in Mexico. I was extremely happy with it. It provided plenty of shade for 2 of us; including sitting inside in a beach chair, plus lots of stuff. The option to open flaps over screen windows on 3 sides meant we could open or close as the sun moved; allowing breeze or shade as needed. It only took a few minutes to put up; very straight forward. It did fine in the wind as long as we had plenty of weight in it to hold it down; easy with all our beach gear. Seems well made. The carrying bag is great; compact and not too big; easy to carry w/handles. Recommended.

Once you get used to folding it, it really is simple to put away even by yourself. I would definitely recommend another person to set up but could be possible once you practice. With the sand being hard, would highly recommend to bring a hammer to get the stakes into the sand. This is very easy and convenient to have to move without taking it down. This is great for 2 adults, a toddler, and to keep beach bags in it. It was very comfortable to keep the sun out. I would definitely recommend a bigger size for more people. I had this all summer last year and had no issues with any rips, tears or breaking. I will always have this for summer activities!

My family goes to the beach almost weekly, but we have lighter skin and like to have some refuge from the sun once in a while to keep us from frying from sunburn. Beach umbrellas have been annoying to use and are never very effective, blow away easily, still allow light and heat to reflect up from the sand, and don’t provide a lot of shade. I had a tent for years that was just like this but from a “high end” sporting goods brand, so it was expensive. It was old and finally got sticky, so it was time to replace it. I thought I’d give this a try since it was only 40% of the price I paid for my first one. This one is PERFECT and literally exactly like my previous one. Very quick and easy to set up and take down, perfect sun protection, breeze can still pass through the vented windows on the side (which can also be covered to block wind/sun), and folds down easily to store in a very small bag that is lightweight and doesn’t take up space. This was also great for our toddler to nap and play in when she needed a break from the sun. Seriously, get this for the beach, you’ll enjoy it, it’s worth the money especially at this price, and your body and skin will thank you for it.

Great for a day on the porch, grass or beach. It is large enough for 2 adults and some necessities. The windows easily roll up for privacy or to block the sun and the front section unzips to allow stretching out or it can be zipped all the way. Sets up like a traditional tent. The poles are the same as a tent...they bend in several sections to become a single piece that can arch, if placed carefully and correctly. If it is rushed and forced through then you will have trouble setting it up. Since I have experience with tents this came easy and the material of the shelter is not as dense as a sleeping tent so I made sure not to force it and just pay attention and it sets up fast. It stays down if I put some rocks or 1lb ankle weights in the "pockets" meant to put a weighted element into. We did even sleep in it on a dry warm summer night a few times and it was fine for the chosen conditions. Really a great protective way to spend a day outside with plenty of room and options. A great and also compact, lightweight addition for a summer outing!

Set up was pretty easy, did need an extra set of hands when placing the poles into the eyelets. Very spacious, love the windows can be “closed”. Bought in anticipation for Gulf Shores, I have faith it will hold up well for the beach

Got this for the beach and it disappoint. Easy to put together and stayed put all day. If it’s a bit windy, you may need a second person to help, otherwise can easily be done alone.

The item was what was needed and had some nice features. You need screens for a shade shelter- if you don't have screens you're gonna overheat in your little tent. This tent has 3 screens that do the job, and are easy to take up and down. This is not a tent for camping overnight- even though the open wall will zip close, giving you privacy in the tent, it should not be considered water-resistant. The windows are large and close with a hook, not a zipper. 3 person limit on the smallest- the small tent fits 2 shorty chairs, and a little table comfortably. Repacking is easy with 4 hands- you will need a friend to get all of the components back in the bag. With a friend holding the stuff sack zipper, you'll be able to get it packed and ready for your next adventure. The only reason for 4 stars is that the tent I received was lightly used, even though I bought a new one. There was sand in the tent when I opened it, and an additional stuff sack labeled for a camp table in the tent stuff sack.

This was a great little sun tent. Purchased for a retreat from the sun for the kids during games at a sports tournament. Easy to set up, the poles are a little annoying, but easy enough. We had 6 eight year olds hanging out comfortably between games having some snacks and playing cards. Winds and door Can be closed off if you need a space to change or need privacy for something.

Update: the company sent us a replacement tent that is in perfect condition. Amazing costumer service! Original : Nice tent, ours arrived with some slight damage on the back side with the fabric pulled and stings hanging off. Unfortunetly we needs the tent for an upcoming trip and didn’t have time to go through the return process. Tent does create shade but when the windows are up to create the shade it gets hot inside. Need to have a fan handy!

This beach shelter provides shade from the sun while allowing ventilation through 3 windows and one open side, I like the fact that it can be used for some privacy if you zip up the one side, or just do up the windows. It was super easy to set up, and so compact to carry to the beach. I only used it once, so I can’t speak to the longevity of the product.

Love this beach tent . Wanted something that is affordable and easy to assemble at the beach, along with the sterdyness of it . I would recommend this for especially if you have little ones when u going to the beach. They can nap under the cool shade from this tent.

The 4-6 size was WAY too big AND extremely tall for a beach tent so we sent it back and got 2-4. Took under 5 minutes to set up. It’s just two posts that go through and we didn’t even bother putting pegs into the ground because of our stuff that weighed it down. Love it 🙂
