This is my all time favorite real grade. It's, hands down, one of the best engineered kits by a long shot. Everything fits together perfectly and looks excellent when finished. A friend of mine got this kit as his first Gundam, and it looked so cool and cost so little ($30) that I was like "what the heck, I've always wanted to try building Gunpla, I'll throw $30 at seeing if it's for me". It definitely is, and this is a great way to get started. The kit is fairly simple, the instructions are extremely clear (the parts of each piece that line up and touch are highlighted in red), and the resulting Gundam doesn't take up much space. This is the cheapest and easiest way to get The Full Gunpla Building Experience, and by the time you're done with this model, you'll definitely know whether this is the hobby for you or not.That said, this is not a perfect model. The antenna and hands fall off if you look at them wrong. The backpack unbalances the whole kit, there's not a real way to keep it on without a stand or the wings touching the ground. The shoulders are a mess, one is way looser than the other. Also, I found out that for my adult male hands, Real Grade kits are just plain too small, I've switched to exclusively Master Grade kits after this one, and I'm never going back. Crumbs! They have you assembling parts of this thing out of crumbs!

the original was amazing, this one is exactly the same, build and quality wise, either is a great purchase just depends on the tone of color you prefer.
