What a great product for your hair MDLondon Wave heated Barrel Brush
MDLONDON Wave HeatedBarrel brush does what it says on the can, easy to use, (I used it before I plug it in, to get used to which way to hold the brush, using the lock and unlock position of the brush whilst in my hair, this gave me the confidence to se it whilst it was hot) instruction on how to use are clear and concise, I used the heat resident glove at all times and the curls/waves it delivered was spot on, the barrel for straightening gave a lovely sleek finish ad people have commented how shiny my hair looks Thank you Michael Douglas for a great product that a novice like me can use, so clever…

Good product but handle with care
Be careful they become very hot quite quickly, a glove is provided to safeguard your hand, product more useful with long hair

Perfect for my fine shoulder length layered bob
Works perfectly for my fine hair toggle it lift at the roots a dn smooth out the ends between washes. I have short to mid-length 9above shoulders layered bob) hair style.

Don't purchase
Don't purchase. Useless. Couldn't achieve a wave never mind a curl. Just ended up with damaged, fizzy hair and several bad burns on my cheeks and forehead. It gets extremely hot! Definitely wouldn't recommend and worst of all, I can't even return it because it's been used. Complete waste of money. Don't be taken in.

A good quality brush with good results
I have had some bad experiences with hot brushes in the past, including one that auto rotated and grabbed my hair and another that broke apart only to expose some shoddy electrics inside. This one thankfully is of a much higher calibre. It is expensive, but as soon as you pick it up you feel the quality. It is easy to hold, button presses are responsive and it heats up fairly quickly. As a safety feature, you have to press and hold the power button, but it fires up and an indicator light shows you what temperature it is set at. You can easily alter this with a simple button tap up or down. I wanted this to add gentle curls to my hair and it does exactly that. Wrap some hair around it, hold for a few seconds and the curl is complete. You can either unwind or push a small lever and the bristles disappear into the body of the brush and you simply pull it free – no more hair tangles. There are soft ended bristles and 2 rows of straight combs which helped grip the hair when I was curling. There is about 2 meters of cable which was plenty for me. The cable is attached to the brush by a rotating connector, so you avoid tangles and twisted wires. It comes in a simple card-based box with no single use plastic in sight (I wish others would follow this example). It also comes with a silicone mat which can wrap around the hot brush and a little band wraps over the top to hold it in place – genius! There is little to displike about the brush, but I did have a few burnt fingers when I first started to use it as there is little to define the point where handle becomes brush, but you quickly get used to it. Most of the time I burnt a finger was when I was fumbling around for the lever to pull the bristles in, but again, you get used to it. The other minor point is that the trade-off for having the pull in bristles is that the head needs to accommodate this and thus it is a bit chunkier which can limit how tight a curl I can get. Bottom line: it is expensive (currently £125) so value for money is not great, but you do get a good quality brush which gives good results.

Great hot brush
Incredible tool & easy to use! Love the fact that I can control the heat level and there’s a button to get the “bristles” to retract! Makes it so much easier to use and clean too.
