This is my 4th 4L ToAuto melter. This is the workhorse of my business. I use them for melting candle wax, wax melt wax, and for melting the oils for soap making. The wax melts quickly and evenly and the temperature holds at the set temperature. The temperature control also has a wide range of temps so I can melt my soap oils nice and slowly. This product has made my production much more efficient. I absolutely love that the inside is made of stainless steel, which makes it very easy to clean. There's also very little wasted material because the design has the drain hole right in the middle of the base of container, so every last bit of oil/wax can be used. The spout functions well and a I rarely experience splatter. I highly recommend this melter if you are a candle maker.

While I lived the color of this item and the quickness of the wax being melted, it doesn't do me any good if it leaks at the spigot and the spigot doesn't work. My husband bought this for me for Christmas and I didn't get a chance to try it out until just a few days before the return date. Thank God I didn't put as much wax in as I would have if I had really needed some candles or wax melts made so that I was able to pour the wax into a pitcher and make the wax melts from there. Very disappointed.

I just started making candles this week but by doing my research, this brand seems to be good. I purchased the same brand different model in only black or white -I chose black because it would ship faster. I got it, and it didn’t work. I was using a small warmer so I was looking forward to it especially bc of the digital thermometer. Then when it arrived I was so disappointed!!! I figured I’d give this brand another try and bought this pink/coral one. The shipping was next day. So sure enough- it turned on and was working!!! ****PROS***The color is so unique and pretty! It’s a beautiful pink ish color that is so girly and different! I love it! It poured out nicely and stopped when needed. The size is perfect! My first time, I made soy wax candles and use 2.5 pounds of soy wax and could have done a lot more! This made about 5~10oz candles. The price was so much cheaper than some others and you get the same amount if not more. Pretty color, works great, price is great!!! Would def refer to friends!! ****CONS**** It took a while to heat up the soy wax. I would say a good 20 minutes at least to heat up. This also doesn’t have a digital thermometer. I used a meat thermometer to double check the temp. If you happen to tilt it or put it upside down, wax WILL come out. I think wax gets in the pourer so just be mindful of that.

Bought this to help test different waxes mostly, I have 2 big ToAuto melters and I keep them full for production and emptying one to test another wax doesn’t work. This little thing ROCKS 👍🏻 received same day👍🏻packed well 👍🏻 comes with extra drain seal👍🏻 easy install of drain valve 👍🏻 filled with wax, at 11.5 minutes it looked pretty melted so I gave it a good stir and let it finish, fully melted in 19 minutes 👍🏻 temperature dial is pretty accurate 👍🏻I had it set around 175F, my digital read 172F👍🏻👍🏻 Empties out VERY good 👍🏻just a very small amount left to wipe out and cleaned up super easy with some alcohol 👍🏻👍🏻 all in all this one’s a winner👍🏻 great value 👍🏻and a great new addition to my ToAuto lineup👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Shipped in original packaging, not substantial enough. The unit was cracked. Returned for a replacement. The replacement only seems to heat 1 side of the vessel. It is very light weight even when full of wax. When operating the valve it will move around due to the force required to open/close it. The spout gives a wild throw of molten wax, be ready!

I purchased this from Amazon to make candles as a retirement hobby. It was easy to set and use. I leave it quite full so it takes a while to melt the wax however once liquid it retains heat well and quickly melts the wax I add to keep it full. The hole in the lid makes it easy to check the wax temperature and the pour spout gives me good control of the flow when I weigh out the liquid wax. There are a lot of larger, more expensive wax melters available however this one is just right for a hobbyist like me.

UPDATE: Reps for ToAuto reached out and allowed a full refund then sent a different model at no cost to me. Great customer service! I am so grateful for a company that stands behind its products and takes care of their customers. I'm looking forward to working with the 2 ToAuto melters I now have. One for candles, and now the new one for melts. Thank you Max and Melina for reaching out and helping, I appreciate you both! I don't care for this Melter. It's more trouble than it's worth. The spout splatters wax everywhere, not a good flow like some others I've used. The bottom scorced on medium heat with over half full of wax, I had to clean it with SOS pads to remove the dark gross film it left behind so it didn't contaminate future wax batches. I have the ToAuto 30 LB large one and it's so much better than this. Hard to clean, Poor Quality, Durability Poor and there are better choices for Functionality! I bought it because of the good reviews, but I have to disagree with all of them! Wish I had passed on this!

After using it only once the tap stopped working. I have tried to clean the spout from all the dry wax but it doesn’t seem to be working at all. Again so much money gone waste.
